You must really hang out with the wrong crowd. I don't know of ANYONE who is ashamed of America. But then I don't judge pride based on flying a flag. As a matter of fact, some decidely un-American groups or individuals tend to wrap themselves in the flag (KKK, AFA, Fred Phelps, Glenn Beck, etc).
Man, you really are incredibly pigheaded and stupid.

The point isn't to "judge pride based on flying a flag." It's being told that we can't fly the American flag here in America BECAUSE IT MIGHT OFFEND OTHERS.

You keep insisting that's the case, so please site a couple of cases where you've been told you can't fly the American flag on your own property or in public because it might offend others.

And yes, I am very pigheaded when people keep insisting on saying things that simple aren't true. If it's as rampant as you say, then you should have no problem coming us with examples.

Pigheaded, yes...and stupid, too.

The point is not whether or not American flag bans take place on private, public or personal property. The point is the increasing incidence of people claiming that flying the American flag in America might "OFFEND" others.

BTW, dopey, "offending others" was the justification used by the property manager in this case.

Oh, but the point IS whether or not American flags are being banned from public or private property. If it's private property, it's none of your business why it's banned or not. That's the whole point, you're sticking your nose is other people's business then getting all offended if they're doing something you don't like.

Are some people offended by the American flag- yes. They have every right to be offended if they want, but I'm certainly not going to stop flying my flag (upside down) in front of my house because someone might be offended. If they're offended, that's their problem; they'll get over it. Just like you'll get over it if I don't let your vehicle on my private property if it has one of those little jesus fishes on it.

Until you can show any cases where the flag is being banned from public property or private property owners are not allowed to fly the flag, then you have no credibility.

Your pigheadedness and stupidity continues to amaze me. You're incapable of even the most basic critical thought or reading comprehension.

I haven't said a word about the flag "being banned from public property or private property", dopey. That's not the point. Neither are you, your flag or your apparent loathing of a fish decal.

Again, the point is that more and more people are claiming that they worry that "others" might be "offended" by the flying of the American flag here in America. Among other things, it indicates they have a sense that there's something wrong with displaying the colors of our country and thus feel somehow embarrassed to be an American.
