This site is a place where people can come to talk about Shanda's case and not have to hear lies from Amanda.
A Lady named SimplySue, which I call Sweet Sue is the one that made this site. We have learned that Amanda lied about a lot of things and we don't want to give her any credit any more.
So Welcome Again. If you have questions we will try very hard to answer them.

This group is a non profit site to discuss the Shanda Sharer murder. Shanda was a 12 yr. old girl that was abducted, raped and murdered by 4 teenage girls.

The site is open now, but I will be slowly adding pages.

All that are interested in the case are welcome.

The poem, go to the web site Megan had on the other topix and click on the book,there will be a block come up that you can put Shanda's name in and it will open it for you to read.I cried. I would love to have this book.
I got a perm and now my hair looks like your. I didn't mean for that to happened through. I love it, my hair sucks so bad without a perm. It's just straight it won't do anything. My hair is also about the same length as yours too. I will get my nephew to help me get a pic of me so I can send it to you.
You know Sue, Jackie was right she told me all this about Shanda would take over my life and it almost has. But I'm felling that I need more info. I know thats stupid but thats what I'm feeling. And can you find out where I have to start here in Indiana to change laws or something to keep Lori and Melinda in prison.

I know what you mean about this case taking over your life. I was the same way during the hearings. It's still part of my life everyday.

I think for people just beginning to find out the horrors of Shanda's death, keep searching for the question we all ask a thousand times.

Unfortunately, they will not be able to stay in prison LONGER than the max of their sentence. But, everyone can still do all that they can to insure they remained inprisoned for their entire sentence.
Unfortunately, as we all know, they most likely will not. Almost all prisoners do not serve their maximum sentence, especially with the evergrowing overpopulation problem.

I still ahven't been able to access that poem.

Sue and Ryan,
All I did is click on the book and then I put in Shanda sharer and I got to read the first of the poem. It's from her letters to Amanda. It broke my heart.
I tell you sometimes my heart is so heavy it just don't want to beat right. It's for Jackie mostly.Theres no way I can evern come close to knowing what Jackie feels everyday that she wakes up and knows that those animals are alive.
She is a person I can only dream of being.
Thanks you two I guess I knew the answer to my own question.
I just feel so helpless, but one part of me still thinks there's something we can do. That why my sister say's I have a head full of rocks. lol

Mary, Laurie or Melinda cannot get released from prison until they serve at least 30 yrs. The most they can do is 60 yrs. I'm sure Jacque will be there to talk to the Parole Board when they are considered for parole.

Plus we can also write them and have friends write them and maybe even start another petition to send to the Parole Board.

I believe that will be in 2022.

But of course Hope Rippey wasn't supposed to be able to get out until 2017 and the spineless Judge let her out early. GRRRRRRRRRR

What is this Sue. YES YES YES please start a petition. And yes it is 2022. But is there any chance to keep them in for their full term. Melinda feels nothing. I feel she will do the same thing again. I will do anything I can to help Sue.
My sister said I need to get a transcript and go see the govenor of the state. What do you think.

I would love to get copies of the court transcripts from Laurie and Melinda's sentencing hearings. If you are able to get ahold of them please send me a copy. I'll email my home address to you.

I will start a petition to the Parole Board when it is closer to the time of their review. I don't want to send one now and they forget about it or think that it is too old for consideration when the reviews are done.
