Green Acres Nursing Home

Its about time that people in Emory know the truth about Green Acres Nursing Home. I have been a nurse there for sveral years. First of all David Lemmons is the owner and he is aware of what I am about to say. This place is a butcher shop. I wouldnt take my DOG! there. He is on the verge of bankrupcy along with the nurses being sexually harrased ,as well as, other employess. Emory Police Dept. is conducting a sex and assualt crime there as we speak. The Male cook is touching and striking women on and in inappropiate places. David Lemmons has done nothing about it, He wont even terminate the man ! when he admitted committing the act. Employees are using narcotics on the job. David Lemmons conducts no drug testing there. Tony Ragsdale was a FELON with a lengthy criminal history. Several times employees reported to David Lemmons that he was smoking CRACK ON THE JOB! and the reporters got fired! Tony Ragsdale was stopped for speeding in the establishment van by Texas State Troopers. They searched the van and found CRACK COCAINE in it. Just check the Sulphur Springs local paper. The article was in there. Not evern to mention that David Lemons did not have Insurance on the vehicle while transporting patients. David Lemons every month issues HOT CHECKS to his employees. Some now have quit because of it and others expect CASH upon payroll. Green Acres had obtained a E-Mail from the state advising David that if they get one more complaint about payroll they will shut him down. Green Acres is a ses
pool of corruption,drug usuage, and on going sexual activity among its employess during work hours. David made a statement to the employess that Eveyln Barnett ADON would never be back in thier because of her corruption and taking narcotics from the drug room. However he hired her back,,, I WONDER WHY!. David Lemmons is sucking the blood out of Green Acres and when its broke he will leave and let the employees holding the bag!

What I would like to know is how can this be published without a signature... who This, sounds like someone is mad and telling lies...wonder did they git caught with thier hand in the cookie jar and git fired???.......

I am not going to be afraid to post my name I have guts I am not a back stabbing slanderer. I have been involved with Green Acres Nursing Home for many years. Who ever wrote this just be ready for a law suit you have slandered the name of more than one person in this comment section. Yes I bet you did get caught with you hand in the cookie jar. Oh by the way this can be traced. Oh bet you did not know that!!!

It is a shame that someone with so much information would refuse to let us know who they are yet can place names to everyone there. If you were so convinced of the crimes, you could have left their names out and the authorities would have taken care of the rest. Obviously with no forethought to it, you've decided to list full names. What if your views are just that, views, and not the facts.

As the daughter of david lemons for the nursing home i must say that it is quite interesting that you have worked for DAVID LEMONS for "several years" and still do not know that your boss spells his name with only one M. Not two. Not only that but i must say that as a student in high school i have a better grasp of the english grammar than someone who cant even make a sentence longer than 8 words. And you have a degree? hmm... seems quite interesting to me.

Now, about the stuff that actually matters. My dad is one of the only men i know that would stay up until freaking 1 o'clock in the morning trying to fix a problem that he himself did not start.

He is an honest hard working man, someone that i look up to very much so. He may struggle to rebuild something that was knocked so far beneath the surface that NO ONE without a heart like his would even TRY to help. He could have abandoned the building. He could have left people with no money. He could leave everyone empty handed. As being a part of the nursing home i have seen him sweat, cry and probably even bleed over trying to make the building the best possible place the residents could have. When the air conditioner went out he didn't just give up because the repair place was closed but went and bought every room an individual unit for the comfort of each resident to be how they preferred. If that is so called... "a place you wouldnt take your dog" then you must have one high maintnence dog. Besides the fact that he has spent countless hours and dollars to make the building look, smell, and feel cleaner... when you step into the building does it not seem a much more appealing palce then it did when the previous owner was there?

Is he not a caring man that spends every waking hour on the phone talking to people like YOU who only bitch about things that concern THEM. BECAUSE you cant get your check early does NOT mean that he can't pay for the checks. It means YOU dont know how to manage your money wisely.

And to the manner of the sexual charges... that was settled. And several witness' even stated that yes the man did do this but even said he was sorry for the act and mentioned that he thought it was his wife... a women who had just turned around seconds later. The other woman just so happened to walk up at that exact moment. It's sad that you must bring up matters that do not matter. I'm sorry that it happened but when the man apologizes multiple times and even several witness' state that he did not mean to do this then why must we continue to batter the man's name? what if you had done the exact same thing? then what? wouldn't you have wanted someone to give you a break? if by accidental cause you hit the wrong thing? hmm?

And about the drug things. do you notice who isnt working at the nursing home anymore? do you realize that it is by the trust that david gives to his worker's that he earns their respect. besides the fact that I MYSELF was there when the drug testing was administered to tony and he PASSED every test. You can not tell me that you would have known any differently.

I know what david is like. He is one of the most sweet and sincere guys i have ever met. Not just because he is my dad but because i see the struggles and times he goes through to help the people at his business. He has spent OUR money that he gets from our pay check to help anyone at the nursing home who requires a little extra. He has moved mountains and parted waters for the people of green acres. If this is so wrong then maybe you should find a cold hearted, no shit taking douche bag to run the building so that you can go bitch about someone else. because believe me. I GET TIRED OF PEOPLE TELLING ME THAT MY DAD IS A BAD GUY WHEN I KNOW DIFFERENTLY. STOP BEING A CHILD.

fyi as of 10-15-09 no checks for the employees 10-16-09 david wrote employees checks on account in lindale tx when there wasnt a dime in the account!!! oh how do i know this??? because i used my bank to cash one of his rubber checks for a friend and it bounced sky high fyi i am pressing charges on him through j.p. smith

fyi as 10-21-09 employers are calling down to austin and the bbb because they still havnt been paid!!! he is messing with peoples lives!! people are getting kicked out of houses since they cant pay their rent!!! kids are going without food because david wont pay his employees!! and one of his employees is going without power and water right now because this man cannot run his buisness right!!! something needs to change and like i stated earlier in week he has charges pressed on him for hot checks!!! will keep ya'll posted!!

if this is going on there why are there no arrests, investigations ? something to shut this place down .......... its hurting everyone .. why ... police and other officials ,ignoring this ? if its that bad ....... im appalled to know . too many people have .said it's going on . why wait?????????

nov 17th 2009 three people went to jail this morning for embezzelement!!! but it did not include the owner yet... if that much money was missing i would've known something was wrong last year when this all started!! my thoughts are he will be arrested soon. just thought i would keep y'all updated.
