Felon Police Officer

How does a police officer that committed two felonies and was made to resign from another agency for this, end up working at Ocilla Police Department? He also used to be a employed with a state agency and was forced to leave due to an incident involving a traffic stop and a rowdy fella that was supposed to go to jail, but he didnt have the balls to take him and simply drove off.WTF?

Well my fellow Irwin Countians.... yep ur right about the former State Trooper that has committed those felonies and is working at the Irwin County L.E.C and S.O. Also his wife works as the E-911 director at the Irwin Co. S.O. You all can thank your wonderful sheriff for that. He is after all the one you all keep voting in year after year. For the officer you are talking about that works with the Ocilla P.D is now a Sergant. I do think he has learned his lesson.
People what I am getting at is that it is all politics... It is a crying same that these former state troopers and others officers within the scope of law enforcement give the hard working and careing officers a bad name. As for the officer you are speaking of in ref. to writing traffic tickets... if ya was not doing anything wrong you would not have been stopped in the first place....sooooo cry to your mom boys and girls. Also there is no need for name calling (DICK) people that is slander and if you knew your laws you all would know that name calling is considered slander. So get educated with in the scope of law enforcement. Ashely is a GREAT officer and we are lucky to have him in Ocilla. You all set in judgement of these officers. But they are the first ones you call when ever you have a crisis. Remember and I quote ( they run too what you run from). I for one apperciate all they do for the community..... you all should be ashamed. If ya don't like how things are being ran in the county or city. Don't be a closet bitcher....get up and do something about it after all you do have a voice and that rite. To all the officer and deputies in the city and county you deserve a great big thank you...

It's just hard to sort out which felon officer they were referring to Pissy Peach. There are so many in the Ben Hill/ Irwin County area. But still thanks for riding Ashley's nuts...I'm sure his wife was getting tired of doing it.

Actually, I'm from Fitzgerald. And remember one thing "gentleman". Anyone can talk sh!t sitting behind a computer. Arguing on the internet is like winning the Special Olympics. Even if you win, you're still retarded.

With that out of the way, the point I'm trying to make is this. It seems like the entire Ben Hill, Irwin, and even Wilcox police are embarrassing themselves. I for one and sick of it. Two inmates escape from Fitzgerald, some people even claiming an inside job, the recent meth arrest in Wilcox County, Toby Worthington, Mike Clark...the list goes on and on. People are trusting their police officers more and more. Who can really blame them?

I'm not saying all cops are crooked. The ones who are causing are the exceptions and not the rule. There are still a few good police officers left doing what they swore to do without bribes or any sort of corruption. The few bad apples, so to speak, need to be weeded out and dealt with. That's my honest opinion. You can or agree or disagree. That's your right.

Bob was one of those officers demoted from commander of the drug task force for hacking into his employees email and yes nothing was done and now he is a sgt. with the ocilla p.d.... okay something wrong with this picture... what is up with that major and chief hancock? for toby worthington and mike clark prissy peach was rite on the money with that as well.... soooo why are they back with fitz. p.d.? ya know there are some good officers out there and peach we are not slandering them but lets be real these are felons.... when does this stop.... there certifications should have been taken away along time ago. if they are capeable of these crimes what else will they do????????

Like I said earlier, "Not all cops are crooked." No one is saying let's do away with all police officers and let anarchy and chaos run wild. I'm just wondering who polices the police and their bosses. Toby and Mike Clark are just the latest cases of "Cops Gone Wild." Remember several years ago when 3 Fitzgerald police officers "borrowed" a car from a local dealership and went joyriding around town? If that had been anyone else, they would have been charged with vehicular theft.

Sure, we're all human. We all do stupid things and make mistakes, but as a police officer you are held to a higher standard. You are the ones who are supposed to protect the rest of us. How can we trust our police when a few of them are committing the same crimes as the people they are arresting?

As far as the majority of our local police, Elix Wshington, Ashley Barrett, Doug Douglas, and so many more, keep up the good work. You are doing a great job and God knows we need people like you more than ever.

Funny you should speak of Doug Dougals....... CROOKED..... Please go ask Doug about running thru peoples yards last Friday night just so he could make a booty call to his girlfriend Katie Giddens...yep that's rite Doug busted.... and always causing friction between other officers, and no-one wants to work with him,(DIRTY) but yet he is supposed to be up holding the law. Whats wrong with this you ask MORALS... he is supposed to be a devoted loving husband and father. If ya don't up hold those morals you pretty much are going to fail at everything else in life. I also know for a fact that he is spying on his fellow officers and reports back to the chief just soooo he can move up in rank. The only reason that he has those stripes now is not because he earned them it is beacuse 2 other officers passed them up because they would rather stay on day shift than to be moved back to night. these 2 officers are upstanding in the community and are well respected and loved by all. You want to know about GOOD cops let me drop names Parrish, Adkinson, Fletcher, Jones, Grant,Dittman those are truly good cops. Billott and Douglas well lets just say are the most ass kissing, butt cracking licking 2 officers I have ever known. Tift Co., Fitz.,Gsp and Drug Task Force don't want them there is a good reason why. Yes there are some great officers in fitz. and those you mentioned excluding douglas are good cops, but there are soooooo many more on county side in irwin and ben hill that are good.. well i hear ya mike.. and i agree with ya on the bad ones needs to go and crawl back up under the rock they crawled out from under. GOD ALSO KNOWS THE TRUTH ABOUT WHO"S DOING THERE JOB AND WHO IS SNAKES IN THE GRASSSSSSS..........

But i heard the same thing as well... it's amazing what ya hear when your standing in line at walmart waiting to check out. douglas's wife needs to find out with proof to back it up. i am tired of the same old same old.... bad people finish 1st and good people finish last.... god will take care of all....you cannot hide from him.
