This is real easy to understand what Jesus said here in the Book of John.
Jesus states that if you believe in Him you will bring your deeds to the Light to see if they are in God.
If you do not believe in Him you will continue to do evil and not bring your deeds to the Light.
Are you tired of the temptation you fall prey to day in and day out?
Are you tired of playing the sin games of the world to be of the world?
Are you tired of the darkness you are in day in day out?
Are you weary and tired of your life?
COME TO THE LIGHT AS JESUS SAID YOU MUST DO.
REPENT AND CEASE FROM SEEKING THE PLEASURES OF THIS WORLD.
REPENT AND STOP SEEKING THE THINGS OF THIS WORLD.
FLEE FROM IT...GET RID OF IT....HIDE FROM IT.
ARE YOU READY TO COME TO JESUS.
AND REPENT FROM EVIL.
DID YOU KNOW...EVERY SIN YOU DO...YOU ARE SOMEONE WILL SUFFER FOR IT.
THAT'S RIGHT...EVERY WRONG THING YOU DO...YOU OR SOMEONE SUFFERS FOR IT.

I sure hope you change your mind before then, Gorky. Thank you for your concern and I think that we both will fare equally well upon our deaths. The people whose words found their way into the Bible were lay philosophers who were well voiced in parables and metaphor. The good lay people today, don't seem to know squat about parables and metaphor. In other words, the fundamentalist understanding of the historical Jesus are fundamentally fundamental and have lost much of the rich poetry and the richness of the original authors. Also, the selection of the Gospels eliminated many of the early gospels that were unappealing to the Emperor of Rome. We are all sons and daughters of whatever force, or evolutionary processes responsible for our origins. Call it what you will, Jesus taught us love. The fundamentalists are as much in the dark as the rest of us, you just don't know it.

A prophet is also defined as a person who is or is claiming to be, an inspired teacher or leader. Jesus, Muhammad and Gandhi were all inspired teachers and leaders, Muhammad and Gandhi were both inspired by Jesus as was Gandhi also inspired by Muhammad. The title of "Christ" was imposed on Jesus who never claimed to be the Christ. This in no way detracts from the importance of Jesus to our history.

Casting your pearls to swine? I'm disappointed, there are those who are written in the book of life and those who are not. Making sure that they are given the opportunity is all that is required, the Spirit will move them or it won't if it doesn't then that is the will of God for them. I cannot think of a more fitting fate than that which has been foretold for those who refuse the call of Christ.
