weeler correction

i have contacted several people about this problem and cant seem to get any answers so thats why ive turned to you all my name is pat scholtz i am planning on marrige with a inmate there at weeler his name is jamie peek he and i have talked about some concerns he has and i share those concerns and they are as follows...... there are sex offenders there at weeler that they allow to on detail building a ball feild near a school and a church where they are kids and i dont understand why they are allowing that to happen it shows poor judgement on their behalf there at weeler,sex offenders has no place being around kids and mine and jamies concerns lyes souly with the safety of the kids and the public weve tryed to get help with this problem and got nowhere so anything you all can do would be nice...jamie told his concerler what was going on and it was reported to the warden he sent for jamie to come see him and all that got jamie took off of outside detail and to me that was just so he wouldent know what was going on or who was working on detail and now i fear for jamie that something might happen because he has raised questions about this problem and i wish they would just move him out of there because they know now it is him causing all these questions to be asked but hes only concern is the safety of the kids and the public so if there is anything that you all can do it would be nice than you ......... pat scholtz patscholtz@yahoo.com you all contact me any time thank you

I worked at Wheeler Correctional and I know for a fact that any inmate who has a detail outside of the compound (outside of the gates) HAS to be a non-violent, non-sex offender, low security inmate. Only thing he can do is request PC and be locked in Segregation. From there he would need to put in a request for transfer.

This not true at all. I am a Currently an employee at wheeler (in the Job Assignment area) there is no way possible for a sex offender to get outside the gates for a detail. All sex offenders are labeled as med security and medium security inmates aren't allowed to work outside the gates. I don't want to say that your bf was lying but he was. Now if he is having a problem then he needs to talk to someone here at the facility. Like I said I work in the job assignments area and I can tell you why he got taken off his detail.
