Can they now drop the charges against Gondor and please let these men try to pick up the pieces of their lives?

Thank god. I am so happy for Randy and his family. I hope he can get his life back. Now they need to leave Bob alone and let these men get on with their lives. They have taken away enough from them.

Just wondering if Troy Busta can be retryed on this since Resh and most likely Gondor are being found not guilty.

Any knowledge on this? Does double jeapardy apply to this situation?

I am glad of this verdict. Looking forward to seeing the same for Gondor. Wonder if Troy Busta can be tried over for the original or other charges. Wonder if double jeapary applies to this situation.

I love both of these men with all of my heart!

I am so glad that the jury did the right and correct thing by giving Randy his life back after 16-1/2 yrs.

I KNOW that God was with us and heard our prayers! There is a scripture that says, "You have not because you ask not." Well, we asked and God gave!:)

Justice has prevailed. These guys were railroaded from the start. The case was flimsy with a lack of evidence and follow thru from the prosecutions side. These guys should have never gone to prison for this in the first place!! The justice system does work, this is proof!!

The injustice evident in the Resh-Gondor cases isn't a one-time occurrence, two unfair convictions from an otherwise fair and tough prosecutor's office.

Like the Resh-Gondor cases, in Tyrone Noling's conviction, prosecutors ignored viable suspects, used snitches in place of compelling physical evidence, perjured testimony from frightened alleged accomplices in place of reliable eye-witness accounts and used investigative techniques that relied on threats and intimidation to elicit false confessions.

Noling sits on Ohio's death row for a double homicide he did not commit. He awaits a new trial ruling in Judge Enlow's Court.

Despite The Supreme Court's ruling, Portage County prosecutor Victor Vigluicci decided to re-try both Resh and Gondor and bring out of retirement the very investigator who's investigation led to their and Tyrone Noling's wrongful convictions. Ronald Craig is alleged to have intimidated witnesses, used coercive tactics to elicit false testimony and manufactured evidence.

Countless affidavits and documentation bolster these allegations of abuse.

Let us pray that judge Enlow does the right thing in this case.

It's time the Portage County prosecutor's office answers for the crimes they commit.

God knows and now Everyone knows Randy Resh and Bob Gondor are innocent!! Yes Both.
Randy we grew up together and from the start of this I believed in you
. You now have a FUTURE that YOU can plan. YOUR FREE.
What does that mean.just a few things.
You can take a walk up the street
You can come home when you want to.
You can go to the store.
You can go to the movies.
You can go visit a friend
You can start making plans again.
You can get a drivers license .
You can VOTE.
You can take a vacation
Suing everyone who had anything to do with setting you up, lying to save their own neck, or their son's neck. Falsely imprisoned, investigators.
You can get a job.
Pay taxes no wait that should be part of the deal with the State that you never again have to pay any STATE TAXES. They owe you that along with millions to you and your family for what they did to you.
Love you Randy Your a Good Honest Trusting Good Hearted Man!!!

Imagine this: 16 1/2 years ago, you're a young adult, standing in judgement for crimes that you know that you did not commit. Then, you hear the words, "Guilty!, Guilty, Guilty."

Fast forward to present day: You are once again standing in judgement for the same crimes that you know that you did not commit. You and your best friend have given your youth....16 1/2 years plus....to dirty prosecutors. It is once again your judgement day and you hear the words, "Not Guilty!, Not Guilty, Not Guilty!"

You are numb, overjoyed, relieved and vindicated. But, not for long. How can you be truely happy when you know that your bestfriend, who has paid and suffered by your side, is yet to be handed his fate. His freedom is still hanging and he is still paying for sins that he did not commit. How you can truely be happy, when there is still so much that is unknown.
What a Bittersweet victory!

----------

Drop the charges against Bob Gondor, Mr. Prosecutor! You have stolen enough.... and on that day, when YOU are standing in judgement, for crimes that you DID commit, and you hear "Guilty!, Guilty!, Guilty!" you might get a lighter sentence.

Do the right thing!
----------

Congratulations, Randy! We are still praying for Bob and God will make this right, I know he will! Very soon, you can really have a celebration party!!!!!

I went to school with both Randy and Bob. I lived down the street from Randy. I knew this was a terrible injustice from the start. I am glad it is finally over for Randy and hopefully will be for Bob soon. I am extremely happy for Randy and his family. I only wish that something could be done to make up for all that was wrongly taken away from them. All that they missed while waiting for this day.

WEll it shows that justice in our country hasn't gone by the way side. The evidence showed both of their innocence. A person would have to be blind to not see the truth. congratulations....
