Great for BEM, enjoyed working for the Mohrlangs. That no good bunch of doppers at MMI International need to go away, I will give them my 5 pay checks that didn't cash if they would.

Waite, a minute, the many former Mohrlang employees you refer to, left the company long ago when their pay checks bounced. The only ones left are the 8 bottom feeders, the best 40 left or retired long ago. A leopard does not change its strips, most vendors still refuse to extend credit to them, not to mention that the few employees they have don't show for work if the pay check doesn't hit their checking accounts by noon on friday.

MMI International has been in existence since January 2008 manufacturing a product line that has been 62 years in the making. The "MMI" is an acknowledgement to Harry Mohrlang and the positive aspects of Mohrlang Manufacturing, Inc. which did unfortunately go bankrupt.

Waite, funny thing, Mohrlang Mfg did not go bankrupt. I should know if they did, the company I work for would have gotten the notices from the courts, which it didn't. The Mohrlangs always paid their bills sometime slow when the Ag markets where down, but always paid. We did get a judgment against Mohrlang Mfg after it was sold to Doug Thomas for debits he ran up. The thing about changing names three times it does away with those judgments. MMI is only a bunch of losers continuing to pigtail on a good name they have only managed to run through the gutter and no longer has the reputation of the fine company it once was. The Mohrlang family are fine business people unlike the current owners & employees that have only managed to ruin a good name.

Reading the above comments and the news article, I could not help wondering why Mohrlang Manufacturing had to be sold if it was doing so well. Seems the Mohrlangs would be ahead buying back the company rather than starting a new one. There must be a lot more to this story than either the news article, whatthe and Waite are letting on about. Still I would be buying my name back rather than let someone I didn't think worthy continue to use it.

Believe Mr Mohrlang was 80 years old when it sold and he wanted to retire, not have to sell. There is nothing to buy back, they have ran it into ground with 3 or 4 owners in 4 yrs. Thinkin BEM Industries are on the right track starting with new product and name.

MMI is not the only company that Doug Thomas and his so called partner Bobbie Ruble managed to get their hooks in through fraud. it also happened to a co in mo caled cutting edge fabrication. this co has also changed names and so called owners three times sinc ethis occured in 2006
