Recently in a court session - which was on the roster for "substitution of council" (to allow me to change lawyers). My attorney was releived by the judge. Immediately after the judge approved me changing attornies. The opposing attorney motioned to dismiss my case. The judge immediately said ok. How can my case be dismissed like that -- technically I was without appropriate legal counsel. Do I have any route of civil rights that may be appropriate for me to persue? Or can a lawyer & judge work together to quickly dismiss my case - without me having an attorney present?
