Delphine Avenue is one of Waynesboro's most important streets and a major corridor for eastern Augusta County, but as of October 19 the roadway has shut down to through traffic for nearly three months.

It would be lovely if VDOT was accurrate. Unfortunately, there have been portions of delphine or roads leading off delphine that have been closed since last spring. It is also unfortunate that every time you drive by the workers it appears that all they are doing in standing around.

Great job by the city and VDOT to get this bottleneck fixed...I don't mind the detour and I travel that way several times a week...
