May I point out that the person he ACTUALLY went after was a POLICE OFFICER? That should tell you something right there: the ADULT tactics of the officer INCREASED the chances that the minister would go for it! It would be a TOTALLY different story if it had been a REAL little girl, but it was NOT! Therefore the POLICE made this event happen!

As someone who knows Mr. Barron personally, I can't help but be shocked and saddened by this turn of events. Rather than make pedantic comments revelling in the misfortune of this clearly disturbed man, I can only pray that his family can rely on God's grace and find solace in the knowledge that no one is beyond God's forgiveness or his justice. He must pay for what he has done, and pay he will. What he does with the rest of his life is the issue now.

I was telephone bait for the PD I used to work for because I have a child like sounding voice. I worked closely with the detectives who chatted online. The Detectives are not approaching the men, they are being approached. To have a rock solid case they (the dets.) cannot approach anyone online.

They sit and wait with a screenname like layla13tx. These dudes flock to it like flies on dog shit. They immediately start putting out the feelers asking questions like, "your not a cop are you?" LMAO All we have to say is "uh duh, lik y wuld u think i am a cop?". Then they start asking sexual questions. Then they set up a meeting. Hey guys, does any of this sound familiar??? Teehee.......

They have Myspace, Yahoo, MSN AIM, Everything. They are hiding in plain sight, everywhere. You truly never know when your talking to a cop or not, they are that good at what they do.
