I think Jerry Lint lived in California and the Conway girls are in Ohio. Hope George is ok. He and Kay very good people. Jerry was a great kid but had some health problems when hw entered the service. |

ohhh goodness haven't heard that name in along time "Jerry Lint". Also Donny Love, Remember him ohhh what a dreamboat he was too... LOL!! Now we are showing our ages. There is a Fred Lint out on RT 40 somewhere not sure if they are related or not, But I think they are. Maybe someone on here will know Fred and can ask him. Take Care, Blessings |

I can't place either of these 2 fellas. What year(s) did they graduate?
|

Jerry Lint graduated in 1978 with me. He was a very nice guy-always polite. Last I heard (many years ago) right after graduation he was going to enter the service. Not sure if Army or Navy; or if he ever did. His name was "Gerald" and he hated it when teachers called him that, so he'd politely correct them and ask to be called Jerry.

Jerry tried to enter the navy Academy but failed the physical. Bone in one of his feet if I recall right. Raised by his sick grandmother and grandfather his life was a hard one. His parnets were sruck by lighting, standing under a tree in front of Humberts Funeral Home during the firemans parade. Both were killed. I was standing across the road and one of the Virgin boys was under the car-port. He was knocked down. The old jail cell on a wagon with Sonny Clevenger and his coon dogs blocked part of my veiw. Some people beleive with all the trucks and a straight line of metal they put the lighting in. Sad SadDay. Good people. Bye |

Jerry Lint's grandparents did not raise him, his parents did. His parents were not struck by lightening, you were misinformed.
|

I do recall that Jerry's parents were elderly. If I 'm not mistaken, one of his parents came to graduation in a wheelchair. We were on stage and someone said that those were Jerry's folks, and we just all stared in disbelief at their age...but health issues may have made them appear older than what they were. (Not sure).

1 I was not misinformed. I was there when it happened. His grandparnets did raise him and his sister who had MS. They lived on Meyers Street across the street from Hayman's. |

No, Jerry Lint's grandparents were not the ones that raised him. His mother and dad did! Yes, they lived on Meyers St. along with Jerry and sister Laurie. You can ask someone that went to school at the time he did. Is there anyone else that can vouch for this?? Surely some of the people that knew him still live around. His brother, Fred lives in Markleysburg. Jerry was in Ohio the last I heard.

Jerry's PARENTS did raise him and his brother Fred, and Laurie, My mother used to go down and help his mom when Laurie would have operations, to try and strentghen her legs so she could walk. I "think" his moms name was Fern.. not sure. The people that got killed lived the Lottie Younkin's House before the Lint's moved in. This come from the neighbors that lived beside them.
