Kudos to all law enforcement personnel who attempt to rid Spring Township/Wilson School District of illegal substances.
For years, this area was peppered with pockets of dealers and users while many looked the other way and pretended they, nor the problem existed.
There are corporations throughout Berks who cleverly administer drug tests then protect the users with silence as long as the corporation is making a proft. There are also corporate VPs who personally participate in the drug culture.
It is time for all law enforcement to admit to the truth and to administer justice through investigations and arrests.
In the past, this ongoing and pervasive problem has forced innocent victims to be extorted, threatened, and terrorized.
Shame on Spring Township officials for part of it's selective past record of allowing certain illegal activities to continue and for allowing citizens to be terrorized. Simply because an industry pays bigger taxes should not enable them to terrorize neighbors, nor deal or use drugs at the work site.
Thanks to those of character today who recognize the value of a drug free, victim free township.
Dealers victimize those who do not participate or buy from them while some corporations do the same.
In the future, hopefully the Township and County will elect officials who have the wisdom to discern the truth and character to act upon that knowledge.
Today, that is not necessarily true when ALL
citizens are not allowed to live freely in Spring Township, Berks County. Officials are to protect the rights of all citizens, not through a section process.
