Father is missing in adak alaska

I am so sorry to bug everyone but I am trying to find someone to talk to in adak. My father has been missing there for 3 weeks. I was told about a missing man that searchers were looking for on island. There were many attempts made to find him. If this is the same man he was a survival specialist who often liked to test his skills and was very capable at survival. I was told he was seen several times in town and then would be gone again. He was seen again and confirmed all right by locals and had to report to verify his wereabouts. I hope this is the same person and all is well with your father. I prayed fervently for his well being.
You may confirm my story by calling my husband Ben. Explain who you are and that you are the daughter of the missing man. I am writing about a man missing in summer of 2008.

I did recieve your post, but I am unsure how to get a hold of your husband Ben. He was there looking for gold and I am not sure this is the same person. He went missing in the end of July, and I have not heard anything since. I try to stay optomistic but it gets harder as the days go by, I would like to thank you for responding it does mean alot to me.

I was on Adak as a contractor and led a search for Sam Arrington in mid July of 2008. The search ended with no sign of Sam except for his abandoned tarp-camp and luggage staged at various ponts on Lake Betty. I have photo's of his camp and belongings, receipts, ect. His gear and food supplies were not adequate for Adak's environment.

Unfortunatly, I have not heard anything. After the coast gaurd called off search and rescue, the town of Adak did continue to search by passing out fliers. But I have not heard anything. Thank you for your post, it is nice to hear something.
