I think he would do a better job if he had a council that would support him

i think he likes to spend spend spend! and expects the taxpayers to foot the bill for his crap!

Concerned any Mayor can do a better job if the
councilwill support them,but gosh look what he
wants support for. He hasn't empressed me atall
in the way he does things. The city is suppose
to be broke and he digs a big hole in the park
for kids to fish in.Who's going to over see this
hole of water and where's the security? He knew the council would not support it so he does it
without letting them know.Sorry excuse for a
reason.

We need a new mayor now! One for the tax payers like me. And who won't blow money on a useless hole and start to call it a pond at our park and then stop work and spend all the citys money on just a hole and have to pay to fill it back up! Crazy!

It Doesn't matter because old money will always run this town.

He would do a better job for the community if he had support from his community, instead everyone loves the scandal they create!

who creates the scandal, just me, he does...the "I'm going to run this city by myself attitude". He has a champagne appetite and beer bank account. The city will never pay off all these debts. He and the city council have equal status as far as power to control. He wants it all..The community will never support that attiude. I hope people will run for Mayor and city council next year.

It's quite clear Mr. but, that you haven't been fired by this nut! He is firing people and the only reason is that they have worked for the city long enough and need to retire. He is setting up employees if they don't support his idea of how this soccer park should be..they are history. I wonder why the city has an attorney if he doesn't give the man advice that can get the city sued big time! I sure would not work there, he would have a contract out on me for I would disagree with him on most everything...he is crazy!

I have lived here all my life and the whole damn town is about money, from the mayor to the elected officals and the police dept. It is all about who you are and who you know! Ever get in trouble, here? it will cost you quite a chunk of change, all the court system works together, everone gets a piece of you, from the drug fund, the courthouse, the lifeskills classes,and dont forget your attorney. Yea that is Russellville where your sewer and water rates go up to pay for peoples screw ups

I understand what "it's me" is talking about. Sometimes it is about money and yes old money talks the loudest.. but i agree with whoa, you cannot let an experence or two sour you on the community.. and your experence has nothing to do with the present situation..we have a mayor who has violated every ethic and legal law on the books. No one will call his hand, so he keeps spending money we don't have for things we don't need and firing good employees who we need desperately. The council needs to bring charges and kick him out of office..4 of them can do it.

yea i agree with you about getting screwed by whole town and the mayor and attorneys who you pay for help. Its ashame for us to suffer because we are people who get their back turned on by the rich! i been screwed by courts here and cops and no one cares. i am tire of it and people like me should complain to city and mayor. The town bullies people i think. i am from a big city. i wish i was back there where you get respect! small towns are money hungry and this is one i know. I own a house and lot and can not sell it without having problems with code man. I lost a sale because of code man. If i was rich or an atty i would be fine. but what can be done to change this for us all who are not wealthy just honest tax payers and good family people? I am open to suggestions. i check this often to see if had answer.

If u want change get out of cyberspace and go to city hall voice your opinion start a revelation if Obama can do it anyone can right, I have left this town many of times but no matter where I go in the U.S its still the same problems just different people.Russellville is what it is but it still has a democracy so use it get involved,knowledge is power.

Hear hear MickeyFinn,aka RVK, it is the same old problems in every town, do we start a revelation or revolution? I have revealed many times how I felt to mayor and council. It fell on deaf ears. If we start a revolution, how do we get organized and to what extent do we go?

Hey what do you do to run for mayor? What is the procedure? How do you go about it i mean getting name on ballad? I should have thought about it lately and way it looks i bet i could do as well but i hope better than our mayor now. I should would try! New blood we need! I will do what i say and help all the people not just rich! Hope i didn't step on too many feet i am not a bad person as people may think. With so much feedback about mayor well it has to be true i mean so much negative writings about him is being published and written in paper. Freedom of speech is a great thing for us americans! Anyone care to comment i would love to hear from you i will check back in a day or so.
