Steve Taylor Said WHAT????

I think Steve Taylor knew what he was saying when he said that at New Frontier. I do not believe he is dumb enough to think it would stay inside those four walls. Taylor is the candidate MOST PEOPLE can relate too. Most people do not want a far right wing nut and that is what Bearden is starting to come of as during the runoff. He has taken some very bad political advice.

There is nothing wrong with having a balance of modereate and conservative views.

Also, EVERY person at the forum (other than Bearden) stated did not agree with where the Tea Party was headed. Steve Taylor was just the most direct with his feelings towards it.

So Bearden was the only one to agree with smaller government and lower taxes, the only one with the courage to say so? Glad to hear it.

Sorry you moderates haven't gotten with the program, this area was already very conservative, but has gotten even more so in the last 4 years. Limited government is becoming more and more popular as people re-learn about our Founders and what they believed.

I'd like to see the book called "Great Moderates in History"...oh, wait, that isn't going to be a best seller....

So Steve Taylor meets with a local black group and tells them that the Tea Party are a bunch of "lily white extremists", and Bartow Countians are not supposed to be offended??? I think that Mr. Taylor's true colors are coming out more and more as we learn more about him. Unfortunately he has not been as transparent as Bearden so it is more difficult to piece together all of these little trickles that have been surfacing in the last month or so......

All in all it paints a very moderate RINO Republican. If this is what we want governing Bartow you know who your man is.

If you want a true constitutional conservative that draws his inspiration and guidance from the founding fathers vote Bearden. The voters will make the best decision for Bartow.

If you think most people in Bartow want a right wing nut in charge you will be surprised on Tuesday when you find out Taylor won. If that was the case these local conservatives would've voted down sunday sales, gambling, etc.

When Steve Taylor said that at New Frontier I was wondering how long it would take for Bearden to jump on it lol.

How did Melba Scoggins voting for Obama, giving her no chance in hell of winning, work out for you all?

Waiting, as much money as Melba spend whe still managed to only win by about 150 votes, She barely squeaked thru. She was expected to win 60 to 40%. That Obama/Hillary thing hurt her badly.

He should draw his inspiration and guidance from Jesus. Drawing guidance and inspiration from any other source will lead you astray. Bartow County is NOT going to allow the right wing radicals to take over the county. If you folks really want a voice and to be taken seriously your going to have too tone down the rhetoric and listen to other points of view and understand everyone doesn't see things exactly the way you do. You have some good ideas but don't go about it the right way.

She was expected to win by that much just as much as Mike Abernathy was expected to be Taylor top competition. Polls mean nothing and you have no idea if the Obama thing hurt her not. I doubt it did!!

Tone it down? You need help! So basically jobs and reform dont really matter to Bartow...pork barrell spending is ok? Lets just continue to keep up the unemployed while rest draw checks food stamps and work side jobs living it up on my tax dollars...and you bring God into it...what about preserving life! I don't gamble nor drink....but I do shop local as often as I possibly can and voted no to a 10 year tax increase! that doesn't mean I'm a right wing nut!

So Trixx you voted against the 10-year massive TSPLOST tax increase? I guess that means you will NOT vote for Steve Taylor who supported it. Also I assume you will NOT vote for Taylor because he referred to about half of bartow County as being lilly white extremists because they support the goals of the Tea Party.
