Actually, Mr. Hutton (if you are reading this or anyone who knows him) you CAN'T be guilty of trespassing... A ruling by Gary Kimes (a district court judge from Osceola) has rendered the no trespassing laws of Iowa to be null & void, even if no respassing signs are present.... Kimes' ruling SPECIFICALLY STATES---
"...such signs cannot reasonably be interpreted to exclude normal, legitimate inquires or VISITS (emphasis added) by mail carriers, newspaper deliverers, consensus takers, neighbors, friend, utility workers and OTHERS (emphasis added)". Under this ruling Mr. Hutton is an "other" making a "visit".... I urge ANYONE KNOWING Mr. Hutton to pass this along to him. |
