Food stamp investigation ends in arrest, conviction

What's the story here?

What are the allegations?

Did she claim extra kids? Kids that she didn't have custody of? Not claim some income?

Why were these questions not asked?

let me tell you a bit about the investigations , for my side.
I was injured on the job and workers comp did not start for 8 months. I applied for food stamps in Ms. and recieved them then workers comp started and I got to much money from workers comp to get stamps any longer, Not taking into consideration that I was 8 months behind in my bills. well workers comp played games with me , they would send me a check for a couple of months ,then cut me off. Well based on the amount of money you have recieved for the last 90 days the food stamps will not be reinstated for, you guessed it 90 days. The cause me to have to charge at a local country store. Well I owe these people over 3,000. dollars when workers comp settled and the food stamp office tried to involve me with their case against the store. When I did get money from the workers comp office I would pay on this account, and I would need the stamps for food, well they tried to say I was paying my bill with the food stamp card. Bullshit. I owed over $3,000.00 how the hell can I pay an account off when I was only getting $289.00 every 3 months or so.I told them to check my payments with my checks that came from workers comp ,and they would see the date the payment was made I had gotten a check. It would have been easy for them to check this because their computers are linked ...... We really have some bright people running the food stamp investigations here in Mississippi. That speaks loudly for Bill Clinton's back to work welfare force......That is all that works at these offices. I was turned down once for a stupid reason and I waited a week and went back in and changed my race to mixed and I was approved that day.........EXPLAIN THAT MISSISSIPPI.. I have child support coming in when they want to give it to me. I have been waiting since Feb. 20,08 to get the back child support from my ex's income tax. the law read the state can hold it for 30 to 180 days, well I think the 180 days has passed. I have a letter from the Treasury Dept. that states they sent the money to the state on 2-20-08, and the state has lied and lied saying they don't have it. well when they called the Treasury Department liars I call the Treasury Department and told them , the treasury department sent me the letter with the transmitle number on it and then Mississippi "Found the money" but they are still holding it. They also have monies they got from the ex's stimulus check and I will not get it until Feb of 09..........
This state sucks in it's D.H.S. department. They are liars just like senator Lott was, thank the Lord he is gone..........

I would like to know what you meant by "that is all that works at these offices". I happen to work at one of "those offices" and take offense to your comments.
