Review: Car Mart Of Waldorf

I bought a fabulous car form these guys and couldn't be happier with the price or the car! These guys know just how to make truely great deals! I was thrilled that I could buy my car for thousands less than "normal retail". I recommend them to everybody I meet.

Carmart in Waldorf, MD is a HORRIBLE dealer. I have not had my car for 3 months yet and I have had to invest thousands into it. They lie and when you call to let them know you are unhappy with your vehicle they hang up on you. They are crooked and take advantage of people as much as possible. If you don't believe me, ask to see their garage ! It looks like a chop shop ! If you still want to buy a car from them after seeing the garage, you're an idiot.

IT takes one to know ONE (the idiot part) cause you seen the garage and you still bought from them :-)

Car Mart of Waldorf/Laplata is a a crooked, deceitful dealership. Sean is a really nice guy but the bottom line is that Carmart intentionally sells cars that are NO GOOD. Yes, I had a good buying experience but the car was a refurbished wreck that lasted less than a year. I found out that the car was totalled by an insurance company and should have NEVER been repaired and resold.
I can't say that everyone has had a bad experience however I surely believe that those who say they had a terrible experience are correct and with good reason.
The cars look good on the lot but it's what's going on under the hood that's the real problem. Congratulations to those who got good cars. But I say RUN FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.

I went here with my brother, father, and boyfriend to check out a car I was interested in. We took it for a test drive and wrote down the flaws that the dealer never mentioned (and many of this were deal-breaking, unsafe and expensive to fix flaws). When we returned to the dealership, we told them about the flaws and instead of being accommodating, we are talked down to and harassed by Sean, the owner. We told him that the belt that they told us was replaced was actually an old one, among other issues with the frame and wiring. When Sean denied that there were any issues, my brother scoffed at his blatant lies. Sean turned around and walked up to him in an imposing manner, saying "I am going to kick your ass." The atmosphere was very disturbing and I was awestruck that the owner would talk to my brother in such a way. Bottom Line: These people sell you dangerous cars and try to convince you that CarFax lies in its reports, and will THREATEN TO ATTACK YOU if you DARE to disagree with them. CarMart is a shady, dirty, unprofessional business.

I purchased a car from Sean, the owner, about 2 years ago. My car was a piece of shit, I had no idea! I am a young female, who knows nothing about cars and I was talked into buying a complete train wreck.
Sean lost one of my payments and threatened to take my car back. I had never been late and always paid over my payment.
When I finally paid off the car, I recieved a letter that said, "Tell all your friends and family about us (LOL!)" Because they knew I was very unhappy.
At one point, Sean threatened to kick me off his lot. He lied to my dad and talked him into making an extra payment by saying I did not pay the previous month.
LIES LIES LIES! TERRIBLE DEALER!!! DO NOT BUY UNLESS YOU HAVE A REAL MECHANIC WITH YOU, AND A GUN!

Buying a car from Sean was a wonderful experience. I had totalled my car & was looking for another one. The price was good & Sean went out of his way to make sure i was satisfied. I highly recommend buysing a car here

I was looking at that 2003 jag xj8 they have with 14,000 miles, i thought that was really low miles for a nine year old car. After seeing these comments, i don't trust it. I'll go to carmax.

This guy Sean was so nice and helpful when I purchased my car. Less than a month later the check engine light was on. When we took the car to the dealer Sean refused to help us even though the car was still under warranty. He argued with my mother and even got about 3 inches from her face yelling at her.. He is an asshole and buying from this douche bag is highly unreccommended. That place should be shut down.

Im very UPSET with CARMART OF WALDORF!!!!!!My girlfriend and i went to get my oil changed and come to find out i needed 3 tires,brakes,and rotor (Sean)the manager told us that he could get us the best deal in town and it would waive my carpayment this month if i had the work done at his shop...A couple months ago he lied to me and told me my girlfriend never made the payment in which she did nd threatened to report my vehicle this being our first time seeing him she asked him about the situation...(Sean) being the nasty,manipulative,scheming dog he is told her to get the fuck out of his office in which she did a proceeded to lock me inside of his establishment and her outside while trying to find a way out he asked if he could speak with me and began to slander my girlfriends name as i found an exit through one of the side doors saying i shouldn't be around her etc which isn't his place in the first place...As i go around the back of the building to check on the oil change because i could sense trouble brewing i noticed my girlfriend talking on her phone (Sean) then came out of nowhere nd told her to get the fuck off his property grabbed her by her arm and pushed her...She then pushed him back and him being him called the police like the bitch he is how dare him!!!!!!!! Totally unprofessional i warn u don't go there!!!!!!!

This place is a shit hole. I had nothing but trouble from my car that i purchases through this shyster. I ended up trading the car in after having it for only 4 months and took a 5 grand hit to get rid of it. I called several times about the check engine light and the car would only go 30 miles an hour. Told me it ewas not covered soory about my luck basically.

GO SOMEWHERE ELSE... or You will regret it.

You people are stupid u don't buy a car unless you know about them or have a mechanic, some cars are salvaged cars, some are recovered theft cars he doesn't hide the fact that they have been wrecked he has all the pics b4 and after its not illegal noone forced any of u

Sean and CJ the salesman if that's what you call him are lying, no good men. They are the reason that you should never trust anything that comes put of their crooked mouths. If you buy anything from them you're dumber than I am. I gave a deposit with no written contract and drove 500 miles to look at the biggest pile of crap car I have seen in years. They lied on the phone and they lie in person! If their lips are moving they are lying. Seriously don't trust them !

Sean is a wonderful person and cj and the workers are too. They DO help you out and they are great at giving good deals and helping you fix your car! I have been to the shop numerous times and nevee had a.problem. Sean genuinely carea about his customers and will help the best he can. And maybe you shoyldnt have missed a payment, because he does not lie about that.

after reading all the comments i wont be going here. i was looking for a cheap but reliable car to get me from a to b but after reading all there terrible reviews im not gonna waste my time even looking to see what they have to offer.
