That school has always had problems keeping superitendants? I wonder why that is? Is it the community/parents, the SCHOOL BOARD, the faculty? Does anyone have an intelligent and logical answer?

I have no clue . However speaking from experience. I know they have some good teachers at that school that work realy hard to educate these children. Some have dedicated themselves to this. But to be honest what I personally believ is the problem is the morality is bad among , what would say is a "combination of all of the above mentioned. I think a little more team work on all would would "maybe" help solve some of these issues.I heard there was some people not happy about something with the superientendant when he tried to "change" and or make a better way for the area school concerning the kids. Look what happened to him. So I dont know some, things go without saying . Iam asuming what I heard is correct about his personal property being vandalized. If I am wrong about that I apoligize. And I dont mean adults or coworkers ar responsiable for that. Parents need to built a relationship with the kids teachers to support them so out shildren will become better students and people in our communites and the future.

I agree with your comment about teamwork on everyone's part. Because let's be honest sometimes it takes a whole team to make decent members of society out of today's youth. And I think that's true for everywhere, in any community. I am a graduate of Turkeyfoot myself and as I have "grown into an adult" I realize what one of my old teachers said to me quite a few years back,"it's all about what you make of it" no matter how small the school or community. So, I guess we have to keep changing super's until everyone realizes that.

wanna know why the school goes through so many super's???? because they were lazy and didn't do their job! they passed their duties on to the principal and the secretaries!!!! all the super's did was to police the halls, ridicule and scream at teachers making them feel like crap. that's why the school goes through super's!!!!

The activity above acurately describes Ric Toner. And that is putting it necely. But it does not describe all of the previous superintendents. If the community wants to know where the problem lies with the school perhaps you should attend a school board meeting once in awhile.

We have a few good ones who want to do whats best. Then there are a few who only ran for school board for the own agendas not caring in the least what is best for the students in general. One of them is an alcoholic and one of them permits underage drinking parties at their house, just to name a few problems with the school board.

If you want to know where the problems within the district lie look at who is actaully running the district. The school board ultimately makes all major decisions. With the group we have is it really any wonder.

Please don't take me wrong but, but where is your source of information comming from concerning the school super and the board? Is it reliable or just more of Confluence rifraf bs? I'm just curious how you know so much on this issue.Ive rad some comments of teacher providing beer and boose parties for underage kids. Not much of an example for our young kids. Morals seem a liitle low don't you think. And if it is going on you ppl should call cys and report this jerk.Cys would investigate quicker than the psp.You dont have to give your name to them either. Just a thought.

He graduated high school, worked to complete and pay for college and completed more course work for administration qualification. He sought roles of leadership. That gets some respect for the work involved.

Ric Toner started out ok. He actually seemed like he might do a good job. But that changed very quickly. He was fine as long as you agreed with everything he said and did. But don't dare cross him! He seemed more concerned about where people parked than he was about the welfare of the student's. He overspent the budget on useless items. He fired people to get his wife a job. She walked around like she owned the school. He threatened to call the police on parents that disagreed with him. He spent more time at the local food places than he did in his office. He was late for work every day. Basically despite going to college and furthering his education to get his administrative certificate he did not know a whole lot of anything and that is putting it nicely. I'd say the majority of people are glad he is gone.
