It is disgusting he is going to take the stand and try to blame the victim. As an attorney I would think he would know he will be committing perjury by saying it was the victims fault. Let's just hope the jury sees through all his lies. His story changes whenever he needs it to. Next we'll here Mr. Tenorio hit himself. Carlos Fierro is just a scumbag that is continuing to disrespect Mr. Tenorio's family. Just remember what goes around comes around.

Can't wait to hear the story that Fierro has been able to manufacture by the time he takes the stand.

Fierro needs to be found guilty of vehicular homicide. There is no excuse for what he did. He killed a man, drove off saying he didn't realize he hit someone. The windshield on his car speaks for itself. The man could barely stand. Com'on New Mexico set an example, prosecute the man to the fullest extent of the law.

I feel bad for Mr. Tenorio's daughters. They have to sit through Fierro's lies and experience their father's death all over again. You're done. Take Lovato with you...

Let me guess....we'll see some crocodile tears while he's on the stand?
I'd like to dedicate a song to Fierro:

This guy is so smug. Thinks he has all the right political connections!

I hope a jury finds him guilty and sends him away for a couple of years.

Don't forget about the state cop also- here is a guy that didn't even stop to help!

I too think he is a sorry man to say it was Tenerio's fault for wearing dark clothing and the lighting was bad. Are you kidding me? What is his excuse for hitting the curb and causing sparks to fly.Guess the curbs jumped out in front of him huh?

If the lighting was so bad, Why didn't Fierro turn on his car's headlights? Then maybe he could have better seen what was in the road in front of him.

I would only HOPE "political connections" wouldn't get him anywhere these days but I guess you never know. He and everyone needs to be taught a lesson that it doesn't matter who you are or who you know. It's not acceptable- period. And a couple years is NOT sufficient...

My husband once got drunk and a tree jumped out in front of his truck, so that he totaled it. Guess we have to look out for those inanimate objects.

So a sober person would have hit the guy 50% of the time and a drunk out of his mind person without headlights with a drunk cop's head in his lap would hit the guy 100% of the time?
If I'm the guy, give me the sober person.
This "expert" just got his client convicted! Hope he was paid in advance, otherwise he'll get paid in cigaretts.

This person is clearly going to try every and any trick in the legal books to get off with a small spank on the hand. What poor character. And to think this person has hinted about holding a political position. Ha, well then again maybe he would fit right in...What VERY poor character. Well you know what they say about attorneys...How sad...for everyone who has had the misfortune of this persons presence.I bet he would be fighting like hell to convict if it had been his loved one, like his child. He killed someones child! bad bad man!!!!

That's funny. I saw that twitter post where he said the expert said Tenorio caused the accident. You are 100% right, a sober person would have hit him if he was the one that caused the accident. I am sure they tried to claim that he walked out 10 milliseconds before the car went by. What a pantload.

over 80 hours and this is the tripe he comes up with? What if Fierro had only had 6 beers and 4 shots?

I also like the fact that the statistics from this so called expert put the probabibility at 50% EXACTLY. I know math pretty well, so I would assume that it is almost statistically impossible to run the numbers and come up with exactly 50%. I would expect a number like 63.294% or something like that from an expert, but not 50%. That is so made up.

Oh come on those of you NOT from NM. It's all about who you know over here. This is an incredibly interesting saga for us here because our politicians here are trying to bullsh.. all the outsiders that we are on the good ole boy system. SHOCK...ah ha. If the public "really" looked into things on this case, there would be lots more outrage. He didn't loose his license... and what else? Sorry outside world, we're still the old west and until we get way way better people into our polical offices this is the shxx we locals deal with. This sort of crud happens more often then you know. Carlos Fiero is an attorney, that just goes to show, character not required to be an attorney.Oh yeah thats right about this attorney. Who knows maybe he'll run for dog catcher. He can you know in our state...

Daily Horoscope for December 31

Gemini

You'll need every ounce of patience today because even the best-laid plans could go up in smoke under the Full Moon lunar eclipse. It seems that certain people are doing their best to throw spanners in the works, and the more annoyed you become the more they'll goad you still further. If there's dissent in the ranks about how to spend New Year's Eve, you may decide to go your own sweet way and prove that you're an individual in your own right. But try not to let any bad feelings mar the celebrations. Have a fantastic night!
