White House Scapegoating of Christian Filmmaker Backfires in Pakistan

From everything we've learned since the murder of our Libyan Ambassador, Chris Stevens, two weeks ago on the eleventh anniversary of 9/11, the White House has done nothing but lie to the American people and our compliant media. We were told that a spontaneous protest over an anti-Muslim film resulted in the death of Stevens and three other Americans. Now it looks as though Stevens was targeted and assassinated in a pre-planned attack by al-Qaeda.

We've also learned that the Libyan government, intelligence reports, and al-Qaeda itself warned of these attacks in advance, and yet there were no extra security precautions taken. My God, there weren't even Marines stationed there.

From where I see things, in the immediate aftermath of the attacks, the White House was desperate to ensure this story was never allowed to crystallize into what it is: A preventable terrorist that resulted in the death of three Americans and the first assassination of an American ambassador since 1979.

To prevent this damaging story from being told, what the White House and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton did instead was to blame the movie and "Emmanuel Goldstein" the Christian filmmaker behind the anti-Islam film. The White House needed a scapegoat, someone to burden the blame -- so why not some hapless Christian filmmaker?

Think about it: he was the perfect patsy; the perfect distraction. If we blame him and his film, we won't ask the White House and State Department questions. You know, questions about security lapses and advance warnings and lies.

And every step along the way, the lapdog media plays right along. The story has yet to crystallize because the corrupt media refuses to connect the dots.

And The Big Lie continues. As recently as yesterday in his Univision interview, rather than answer a direct question about the security failures in Libya, President Obama went on a longwinded distraction-a-thon about the movie.

And The Big Lie continues. At the cost of $70,000, the State Department is presently running ads in Pakistan that show Obama and Clinton disavowing and condemning the film.

And now it's all backfired.

In case you haven’t heard, and if you count on the corrupt media for information you probably haven't, Pakistan -- you know, our ally Pakistan?-- has exploded in a rage that has already cost 17 lives. Moreover, Pakistan -- you know our ally Pakistan?-- called for this day of protest by giving the country the day off to take it to the streets.

And now it makes sense that much of this rage might actually be over the movie. But how many tens of millions of Muslims didn’t know about the film before our government and media poured every ounce of publicity they had into scapegoating it?

How would things look today if the media and White House reported the Libyan story honestly -- reported what they knew when they knew it? Could it be that things might look a little calmer had the American government not ginned up the biggest publicity in the world to create their "Emmanuel Goldstein?"

The "two minute hate" has now extended to weeks and dozens of countries. The State Department's disgraceful Pakistani commercial denouncing the film hasn't just failed to quell violence, it's probably worsened it.

But maybe that was the whole idea. You see, now that the film really is causing havoc, that helps backfill the White House's Libyan lie, doesn’t it?

That "Arab Spring" thingey Obama supported is working out real well for Obama , isn't it ?

Bottom Line is The White House and Obama completely BOTCHED Libya attack assessment.

Even "Pants Suit" Hillary has relented and called this what it was , a terrorist attack. WHY won't Obama ???

Either they were lying, clueless, or both to the facts , either way , it is very sad we lost Americans due to a failure to at least attempt to keep our people safe.

Not only are we seeing the White House and State Department call more attention to the Mohammed-mocking "Innocence of Muslims" than any terrorist network ever could've hoped for, but the President's indefensible scapegoating of the film and filmmaker to draw attention and blame away from U.S. security failures apparently knows no bounds.

Next week, Obama will denounce the film in a speech before the United Nations General Assembly:

My God, between the media and the Obama White House, we are finally witnessing Orwell's "1984" blossom to life.

As our economy slows, incomes shrink, unemployment creeps up, and poverty explodes -- the media assures us we're in "recovery" and that our frustrations should be taken out on "Emmanuel Goldstein," also known as "America's Successful."

As Obama's appalling policy of disengaging in the Middle East comes to fruition in the form of the region exploding and al-Qaeda's targeted assassination of an American ambassador -- the media spends two weeks savaging Mitt Romney and directing our sorrow, rage, and helplessness on "Emmanuel Goldstein," also known as "A Stupid Filmmaker."

For weeks this administration, aided and abetted by The State Media, has shamelessly lied to us about what happened in Libya. Moreover, in order to cover up and distract for unforgivable security lapses, this hapless filmmaker has been targeted for all of the blame -- certainly more blame than the Administration's failure to secure a consulate on 9/11 (of all days), but even more blame than the actual murderers.

And now, even though we know the truth about what really happened in Libya, it won't stop. It will never stop. Because Obama knows his media will never make him pay a political price for lying and scapegoating.

At all costs, the media quietly whispers amongst themselves, Obama must be reelected.

The most troubling and Orwellian element in of all this is that the Administration's lies are now becoming truths. As we saw in Pakistan and elsewhere yesterday, Obama's scapegoating and calling unnecessary attention to this film appears to be turning into a self-fulfilling prophecy. How many millions of Muslims are hearing about the film that might not have if Obama didn’t need his Emmanuel Goldstein? Now that our government has ensured every Islamist radical on the planet knows about this film, how much easier is it for extremists to use it to foment chaos?

Donchaknow, it's the "in-thing," what all radicals are doing this season! Don’t you watch the American media?

And so, next week, as Obama condemns this film, and therefore the American ideal of freedom of speech, before the entire world -- all in an effort to quadruple-down on a brazen lie that's already been exposed as such -- it will truly be the ultimate Big Brother moment of this presidency.

(CNN)-- Four days after he was killed, CNN found a journal belonging to late U.S. Ambassador to Libya Chris Stevens. The journal was found on the floor of the largely unsecured consulate compound where he was fatally wounded.

CNN notified Stevens' family about the journal within hours after it was discovered and at the family's request provided it to them via a third party.

The journal consists of just seven pages of handwriting in a hard-bound book.

For CNN, the ambassador's writings served as tips about the situation in Libya, and in Benghazi in particular. CNN took the newsworthy tips and corroborated them with other sources.

A source familiar with Stevens' thinking told CNN earlier this week that, in the months leading up to his death, the late ambassador worried about what he called the security threats in Benghazi and a rise in Islamic extremism.

Stevens died on September 11, along with three other Americans, when the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi came under attack amid a large protest about a U.S.-made film that mocked the Muslim Prophet Mohammed.

The California-born Stevens joined the Peace Corps and attended law school before joining the Foreign Service, the career diplomatic corps, in 1991, according to his State Department biography.

He spent most of his career in the Middle East and North Africa, including postings to Israel, Egypt, Syria and Saudi Arabia, in addition to serving as the deputy chief of the U.S. mission to Libya from 2007 to 2009, during the rule of Moammar Gadhafi, according to the State Department.

In May, one year after arriving aboard a cargo ship to work with those involved in the upstart rebellion, Stevens was appointed U.S. ambassador to Libya.

Maybe Obama should have been attending his security briefings during this time frame , could have been a different outcome and Americans would have bee saved.

CNN Hid Knowledge of Libya Ambassador Diary For Days

CNN, in an effort to protect the Obama administration while still getting a scoop, hid the fact that they were in control of the diary of the Ambassador to Libya from September 15 to September 21. According to CNN, they found Ambassador Chris Stevens’ diary “four days after he was killed.” They then told Stevens’ family about the diary, and spent the next few days “corroborating” what they considered “newsworthy tips” in the diary.

This is absurd. The diary was found in a public area – according to CNN,“on the floor of the largely unsecured consulate compound where he was fatally wounded.” While sections with regard to the Ambassador’s private life surely should have been redacted, anything of relevance he had to say with regard to the security situation in Benghazi should have been published forthwith. Diaries contain the feelings of the authors; they require no corroboration.

So why did CNN wait a week?

They waited a week because they didn’t know what to do. Instead, they tried to leak out information they garnered slowly, without much notice. They buried the lede. Because they’re CNN, and this is the Obama administration, and they didn’t want to step on any toes. That’s why tonight, when they released news of the Ambassador’s diary, a week late, they headlined it this way:“CNN finds, returns journal belonging to late U.S. ambassador.”

That, of course, is not the news. The news is that the Libya ambassador’s diary contained worries about security in Benghazi. But CNN doesn’t worry about that. Instead, they worry that they’ll be perceived as having forfeited their status as Obama’s chief palace guards by releasing any details of the diary.

CNN must attempt to protect it's "dear leader" at all costs.
