I believe that he should be able to get the tests completed if they were not available at the time of his trial. I know there is a thing called "DOUBLE JEOPARDY" and that means you can not be tried for the same conviction twice. So just give him the tests and see what happens.

Sounds like the case of another hung jury out for blood, rather than looking for a mans inocents to be proven. But than again when has Hutchinson Ks. ever found any man in their courts that Way. to go to Court without A d&a test is like asking for trouble> Now we know why Kansas has a higher Prison Rate... Way to go Kansas people !!!

Yeah that is true. People think they always say everything they are suppose to and half of the time they regret saying it. They are convicting this man based on something he had said and maybe he said it the things he did to just get the whole thing over with. I mean this man may have a child he has never seen or even knows if they know him and he wants to plead for innocence one more time. If he is found innocent the state of Kansas owes him BIG TIME.

Arnold Ruebke Jr. has a child he has never seen. Give him the DNA test. If he really did it everybody who helped convict him should be all for it....finally proving beyond a resonable doubt. What should they be afraid of? I was at the trial and I don't believe I could have convicted him on the "circumstantial" evidence that the prosecution provided. That doesn't mean he didn't do it. But the law states beyond a resonable doubt. Please, give him the DNA test so we can all know the truth. This is just as hard on his family as it is the victims. Everybody needs complete factual closure.

Hey Lori ! Isn't Hutchinson a town that use to hang people for stealing Salt, just because people there live next to a salt mine don't mean they can't have salt on the table during meal time, this concept of people being guilty in court before proven innocent. Means the whole town there is screwed up in the head from too much salt going to their brains, before talking about who's guilty and who isn't there. Hutchinson is a prison camp with lots of bed space ready to be filled and the court system there don't care who's guilty or not, It's about how much much money do you have to spend on saying your not guilty of any crime. Huitchinson has the highest conviction rate in the State of Kansas, that don't mean your innocent before you walk into that court room, It means how much money is in your bank account and how much can they have before you are innocent to them... Hutchinson Is a Joke ! come Share my Space here in Florida and see the difference !

I personally knew Arnold Ruebke very well in high school and Boy Scouts. We were friends. I cannot imagine that he actually committed this crime. Hopefully he'll get the DNA test and get his name cleared.

We all would really Love to know the truth! I hung out w/ Arnie as a preteen & had a hard time believing he could be guilty! Wouldn't be the first time the guilty was found innocent! Both families are in my prayers!

My mom went to school with him too, they weren't friends, but she knew him, and she said the same thing. I think it's kinda ironic in a way how in the stories i've read, the police found the victims.. Not ture, my best friends dad found them, when he was out checkin the land to go hunting.

Tammy Mooney (the babysitter) was my friend in High School. Her brother was my friend too. It is still hard for me to think about this. It is so sad. Did he get the DNA testing?

even with dna testing it proves nothing. what it tell us is if Ruebke's dna is on a particular piece of evidence. however that does not clear Ruebke..it is the belief of many that he was not the only one involved..it may incrimnate other parties.. this is not a case of rape where the suspects dna is left inside the victim..Ruebke was convited..even if the dna is not his it doesnt mean he will walk. he was convicted by a jury of his peers per the legal system not by the city of hutch..not that i have any love for the city or the failure known as HPD..if he has exhausted his appeals then he will need more than dna to clear his name. Right now he is a CONVICTED murderer..My heart and prayers are with the 3 young innocent victims whose lives were cut short and their families

The papers did not say police found him, Randy Smith found them and the paper said that he did

Daily Horoscope for December 3

Scorpio

This is not the easiest day for concentrating on what needs to be done, whether tackling those Christmas cards and letters, writing out a list of jobs, or getting on with other urgent work. Mental activity seems to be blocked, as Mars is slowing and Mercury is under cosmic pressure. Take some time out for meditation, or reflection, and let your subconscious do the work.
