Hussein wants to use your money (give backs) to take away indvidual freedoms. The only positive thing with him as president is his long history in the Muslim faith may make him a better reresentative with the 57 islamic states.

Hussein Obama blames the current finance mess on Bush. Bill Clinton admited that it started with Jimmy Carter (housing for all programs) and he (Clinton) made it worse by expanding the Carter programs. In fact he had Janet Reno beat on Fredy Mac and Fane May.

Obama nailed it!! He was very Presidential, and acted like a gentleman. He stated his points conscisely, and tolerated McCains lying in front of the Nation very well. McCain with his nasty and arrogant childlike behavior acted like a grumpy old troll. Maybe they should be seeking a good Nursing Home instead of the Presidency. Irritability, distorting reality, disorientation, and labile mood are all signs of dementia. McCain is really scary.

As a Hillary democrat, I will be voting for McCain because of this:

“I join as a cosponsor of the Federal Housing Enterprise Regulatory Reform Act of 2005,
S. 190, to underscore my support for quick passage of GSE regulatory reform legislation.
If Congress does not act, American taxpayers will continue to be exposed to the
enormous risk that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac pose to the housing market, the overall
financial system, and the economy as a whole. I urge my colleagues to support swift action on this GSE reform legislation.”- John McCain 2005

Legislation failed.

The failure of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac could have been averted IF Federal Housing
Enterprise Regulatory Reform Act of 2005 had been passed.

downright an insult to ALL of US TAXPAYERS!

Gee, and who did the now Government financed mortgage broker Fannie Mae give its
money to when it wanted to influence a politician?

OpenSecrets lists the top three politicians in which FNMA “invested” from 1989 to 2008.
Top Recipients of Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac Campaign Contributions, 1989-2008Name
Office State Party Grand Total

Dodd, Christopher S CT D $165,400
Obama, Barack S IL D $126,349 ($6000 came from the PAC)
Kerry, John S MA D $111,000

What about McCain?

The folks at Fannie Mae didn’t show him a lot of love. According to Open Secrets:
McCain, John S AZ R $21,550 (all from individuals).

Oh yeah, and who tabbed the former head of Fannie Mae to head up his Vice Presidential
search team? OBAMA, that’s who. Back in May Barack turned to Jim Johnson, former
CEO of Fannie Mae.

The Congressional democrats have ruined our economy. Bye, bye, dear party. I am moving to the fiscal conservatives for now.

Obama was like listening to a canned speech.

McCain wasn't much better but he waxed the floor with Obama on foreign policy.

Henry Kissinger on fox News confirmed that McCain was right and Obama was a liar when the issue of meeting dictators without preconditions came up in the debate.

Don't sweat it. McCain will win the election. If he doesn't get ready to keep and bear arms.

I love Mississippi except at the Liberty Bowl last year. You people are some fine folks.

Actually the mess started in 1977 with Jimmy Carter but took off in 1996 with the Community Redevelopment Act.

But don't just blame Democrats. It was a Republican congress in 1996.

Bush gave a speech in 2002 supporting the CRA.

Vote Libertarian/Republicans in office. Do that and you won't get this junk.

Love Mississippi people. Just not when your playing UCF.

Its time we put an end to the greedy capitalist stranglehold that McCain and the other fascist Republicans have in this country. What happened to equity for all? We need socialized medicine (yes, I said it, Repugs). We need diversity at all levels of government. We need an environment with more trees, and less Walmart. We don't need any more millionaires - we need more opportunities for inner city children. Yes, we should heavily tax and punish those elite who brought our country to the brink of financial ruin. Its time for the people to take back our nation from the corporate interests! Stand up, fellow Democrats.

What country was McCain running for President off - The U S or Israel. Talk about pandering for the Jewish vote! That Rotten stinking corpse smell McCain keep talking about comes for old Joe Libermann. He ought to get Joe's head out of his ass and that might help clear the air.

Socialized medicine won't help you Janelle. Remember FEMA and Katrina? Ever check out the Post Office? How did you like the way the SEC handled this bank crisis? Can anyone live on social security?

You see Janelle, whenever govt takes something over, it screws it up bigtime. And charges top dollar for the paltry bit they give.

If you want inner city kids to succeed, first get them out of the inner city. Move to a decent part of the country where you don't get mugged on every corner, where you don't have gang bangers, and where 1/2 the population isn't on drugs or welfare. Don't wait for Barack cause he isn't going to do anything for anybody but himself. Don't believe me? Take a look at south Chicago and tell me its any better.

Jim Bruin --no reason for insults like that. Janelle probably relies on TV and this paper for news and doesn't understand that Democrat politicians are as rich and corrupt as Repugs. The media won't tell her that since they want Dems to win so bad they can taste it.

The one big thing we do not need in this country is socialized medicine. Half of the US is on some kind of medication at this point. Do you understand that within less than 5 years, medicine and medical treatment is going to be 10% of our GNP. We need preventative medicine and alternative solutions. We nee the government to stop the dumbing down of Americans, I see they have gotten hold of you also. No national health care belongs in this country. We have too much so called treatments now.

Sure, what we really need is better health care for the uber-rich, more subsidies for your rich corporate friends, and Christianizing the rest of us "heathens".
