Columbia U. report: Stressed rock causing Dillsburg earthquakes

A report on Columbia University's study of the earthquakes in the Dillsburg area was released Friday, and it's believed that stress between two contrasting types of rock is causing them to fracture.

Several years ago the people of Dillsburg and the surrounding area had to make a big decision - leave and be safe, or stay and possibly face the unseen horrors of radiation poisoning from TMI. Now they must make another big decision - leave and be safe, or stay to possibly be swollowed up into the bowels of the earth.

I remember in the early 80"S a earthquake here in York, the pictures on the wall's were shaking. It was scary. There was an article recently about earthquake in this area but they didn't mention the quake in the 80's. Does anyone remember it?
