Seriously, just ask Tony Rezko, Rita Rezko, Allison S. Davis, Bill Daley, David Axelrod and probably Valerie. Seriously, there are more than a few others out there that should be more than willing to advise the Obamas.

The spin from the WH was that he wasn't bowing, he was merely hocking a lugie. |

1 It's going to be a long time before savings and other "safe" investment interest rates are higher than the 5.625% the Obamas are paying on their mortgage. And mortgages aren't simple interest: they're weighted so that most of what you pay in the early years is interest which has been calculated for the life of the loan (all 30 years). They've probably paid down only a tiny percentage of their principal in the last 5 years. Considering his job in the public sector, Obama has to be very careful about any sort of private equity investment, and even in the public markets he's got to stay above board, which means he's probably got to stick with index funds, etc. instead of individual companies (where he could have insider info)...which doesn't guarantee much of an investment return, especially these days. The soundest thing to do with extra cash is to pay off your credit card bills. That's always true. But in an economy like this, once your credit cards are paid off, make extra payments whenever you can to pay down the PRINCIPAL on your mortgage.(Make sure your payments are credited to principal only.) If Obama was aggressive about doing this, he could have his mortgage paid off by the time he moves back home. |

So he bowed. So what. The only reason he has to spin that is because you idiot NeoCons would have an even bigger field day if he showed ANY kind of respect for another leader. It doesn't matter that Bush and Co. kissed their ****'s for 8 years and made billions off oil. You are blind to that??? Obama may be respectfully bowing but he is definitely going to cut our oil consumption unlike you idiot Republicans who want to drill in coral reefs for 1/2% of the oil we need. Why didn't the Rebublicans ever want to drill off Myrtle Beach.. Hmmmmm

Wow, to all the racist right wingers, are you still talking about the left wing media? You know, the Chicago Tribune has only endorsed one Democratic candidate in its 100+ year history? Well, probably you don't know that because your propagandist machine doesn't report that.
To all of you right wingers, please go read a book. Please think critically. Please stop being so ignorant. No joke. You "ditto head" right wingers are destroying the country. The "Right Wing", not Republicans, have become so unpatriotic and detrimental to this country it is disgusting. Please Republicans, take back your Party and help this country. Republican Party Yes! Right wing ditto heads no. |

Why refinance, just miss 5 payments and the bank will knock off half the mortgage,or get the house for free. After all he made the rules "Failure is success".

Barack purchased this house for $300,000.00 below market price from convicted political fixer Tony Rezko who lived next door. Tony Rezko received public money to build public housing as a Developer. At one time Tony Rezko was worth about $80 million. In 1997 Chicago had a brutal winter as Chicago always does surrounded by so much frozen water and wind. Tony Rezko could not afford to turn on the heat in the public housing built with public money for poor blacks yet could afford to give money to Barack's political campaign. This house and Tony Rezko's house next door should be preserved for a future museum. Those that don't learn from history, are doomed to repeat it.

It's great to hear that if I have several millions in the bank, and may one day become president of the United States, that I get some preferencial treatment.
And what does this article do for the common man than p1ss us off. Great that the banks will give low rates to those borrowing the most and then give higher rates to those who need it most so the banks can "balance their books". |

Right wing? Try this one. Is Obama even more Dangerous than Bush? by Doug Page, Democrat who voted Obama / April 6th, 2009 Sixty-nine Million of us voted for President Obama because he promised hope and change from the disasters of the Bush Administration. Countless millions of human beings around the planet joined us in our relief and our elation when he was elected. An unthinking uncritical “Obamamania” among most of his supporters continues to prevail so far. This is dangerous for them, for President Obama and for all of us. Without critical analysis and pressure from his millions of supporters, Obama will stumble into disaster. We have carefully watched the new President’s first 100 days and we are appalled. We find that Obama has continued Bush policies affecting the abuses of Wall Street banks, and allowing Wall Street wrongdoers to manage our economy and the “recovery.” OBAMA’S CHOSEN FINANCIAL AND ECONOMIC ADVISORS KNOWINGLY DEREGULATED SO AS TO ENABLE THE FRAUD, AND THEN PARTICIPATED IN THE FRAUD AND PROFITED FROM IT PRESIDENT OBAMA IS KNOWINGLY AND INTENTIONALLY REWARDING CRIMINALS AND IS COVERING UP WALL STREET BANK CRIMES AND FRAUD It is a felony for any person including the President of the United States to cover up a crime. 18 USC Section 4 states: Whoever, having knowledge of the actual commission of a felony cognizable by a court of the United States, conceals and does not as soon as possible make known the same to some judge or other person in civil or military authority under the United States, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both. Such a cover up is also criminal fraud as defined in 47USC 1001.3 Such a cover up when done by a President, Vice President or a Secretary of Treasury is also a “high crime and misdemeanor” warranting impeachment under Article II, Section 4 of our Constitution: “The president, vice president and all other civil officers of the United States shall be removed from office on impeachment for, and conviction of…high crimes and misdemeanors.” President Obama has also taken the Presidential Oath that he will faithfully execute this cover up avoidance law as well, and not to violate it himself. 80% of the American people, according to a recent poll believe that Wall Street is crooked and is responsible for our current Depression. Obama, in a recent speech to Wall Street CEOs telling them to “cool it” about justifying their contract rights to bonuses, said “My administration is the only thing between you and the pitchforks.” So what is he saying to the 80% of us potentially holding pitchforks who voted for him? http://dissidentvoice.org/2009/04/is-obama-ev... Wake up democrats. He does not represent you, or me or Americans. |

So he bowed? So what? You tell me, seeing the White House is now claiming he didn't bow at all. Your question should be directed to them. The only thing Barry's going to "cut" is offshore drilling, making us even more dependent on Saudi Oil. Enjoy the $10 gallon gas while driving your wind-propelled wheelchair of a vehicle. |
