In addition to the list of the favorites listed. Our family would submit the addition of visiting Branson's recently modernized Downtown area with upscale shops anchored by the Bass Pro Shops and a number of great restaurants.

Families should know that there are accomodations all over the area at prices meeting every budget.

Our favorite activity is the fishing opportunities on Table Rock Lake (some of the best Bass fishing around) and Lake Tanneycomo with its great Trout fishing.

The addition of the "Titanic" museum that anchors one side of the Highway 76 strip and Dick Clark's American Bandstand Theatre that features many of our favorite 50-60-70s recording artists daily anchors the other side of the 76 strip and offers many great entertainment venue options for the family in between.

Finally, we agree that a trip to Silver Dollar City is a must visit each time we go. This park rivals the cleanliness only found at "Dollywood" and offers a laid back and restful way to enjoy an amusement park but at the same time doens't hold back some very exciting rides that can be enjoyed by all age groups.

Branson Landing, located on the eastern end of the 76 strip is a definate must see for every age, even the teens. Shopping, a wide variety of dining, and entertainment are all there. The fountain and lights show, designed by the same company responsible for the famous Vegas Bellagio fountain, can not be missed. It is spectacular! Sip on margaritas at Cantina Loredo and watch the fountain show. It doesn't get much better than that.
Also, check out the Hilton Convention Center located accross the street. The building is unique. The lobby is fantastic. An architectural and designers inspiration.(Oh, and there is a Starbuck right across the street.)
