I am starting to think that loose cannon is not a nurse, naughty or otherwise.
Maybe the janitor for the neo unit.

I took her statement to mean morally not physically.

REs work with women until about week six of pregnancy, then they pass under into care of a standard or high-risk focused OB/GYN. By the time the infant is born, whether premature or not, they're well out of the picture--they are neither involved in the care of the mother or infant, nor have been for many months. How would they even know? They're not even medically connected to the case at that point.

An RE's medical focus is dysfunctions of the adult female's reproductive organs.(They don't just work infertility either, but other types of dysfunction.)

And while many who specialize in various forms of medicine, including IVF, may choose to do so for the money, they are providing a service that is requested by people. I think it's one thing to question the morality and/or policy regarding IVF, but it's completely out of line to make disparaging generalizations about an entire profession. Such remarks clearly demonstrate a lack of class by someone who thinks highly of him/herself.

We're also talking about someone who referred to babies born after IVF as freaks of nature in an earlier thread.

Which actually makes me worry more if she IS a nurse on a neonatal ward ...

LC isn't a nurse -- she's a radiation/xray tech (I think)(which is a really good job!). Not that it matters, just wanted to clarify.

My opinion is as valid as anyone else's. And I will be the first to admit that I am more than a little biased.
I have repeatedly seen some of the sickest kids in the neo units because of IVF gone bad.
That's a small minority -- most are born normal, healthy children.

And we have plenty of babies in NICU who were the result of "natural" insemination. should people just stop making babies.

Oh, and your statement "my opinion is as valid as anyone else's." After you laid into Tonka and others for being WRONG about their opinions as something as subjective as music, you come off rather hypocritical.

Wrong. She's a fat guy who manages the candy aisle at Kroger.

Daily Horoscope for June 3

Sagittarius

You're in the mood to spend today, especially on the spur of the moment. Be careful if you can't afford to make any impulse purchases, because a lack of cash won't stop you! If you do decide to splash out on something, you may be disappointed when you get it home and you might even decide to take it back.
