I support the Maywood Police Department. This past year they have been extremely effective in arresting gang bangers and drug pushers.

Blue blood u do not know what u are talking about I was assaulted and robbed in Maywood and police did nothing. Maybe u should go to the neighborhood more often and see what is going on there. Police don't respond to shooting because they are scared to get shot! I knew this man personally and if the police had been doing their jobs instead of laughing and joking at a local McDonalds he would still be alive today!

...you had me all the way until this one...I thought, yeah, MPD has cleaned up(admit it was really lax), since they opened arms and ACCEPTED the FBI coming in (not invited, and you must know it, if you are all this shyite bricks person). But I hope you don't represent any police force. Maywood doesn't need one more f-you officer. And Cassandra, the MPD can't possibly know everything, but we can...asking IS thier job, and if nobody tells anything, they can't do it. You can tell what ya heard or not, up to you....but you shouldn't say they aren't doing thier jobs if they can't get the info from us..PS- if I still lived out there though, I wouldn't tell 'em because I KNOW how some of them are, and the others, well, they protect thier own.... |
First off don't confuse seeing these types of things every day and not becoming "saddened" by them as "corruption." Them's apples and oranges. Secondly, your little piece of advice at the end about not cooperating with the police is exactly why we have that "who gives a f*#k attitude." You can't have it both ways. So, in conclusion, my advice to you is if you need the police, don't bother calling 911. Call a friend to solve your petty problems for you. Because I don't know of any other profession where someone puts their life on the line not only for strangers and people who have nothing but resentment and contempt for the one who is helping, but also assholes like yourself. You need to open your eyes to the real wolves who walk among you. P.S. |

...I can see the wolves clearly, it's the ones in sheeps clothing that attack.... ...and I wouldn't say that I understand people in Maywood being AFRAID to tell the police, because of past conduct - IN MPD... assholes (like YOURself) exist in a covered area, and only get air to give pass... if you don't know people who have been through things in the small town of Maywood, you, my friend, should not pass judgement. You never know when you might be talking to the wrong ones. So, I'm just saying I understand, not that it's right. I know people who have tried to help in Maywood, only to be pointed out. It's thier job to answer a call for help, and most do just that. But there have been some corrupt, and people just don't know who. |

If you want robots to work the streets without any human qualities, good or bad, that I advise you to go build one. Because your kind will never be satisfied with the police and always be critical. But you, at the same time, allow, make excuses, or turn a blind's eye from corporate and government corruption. Start on those things, they are bigger problems. Furthermore, one thing your sorry ass disfunctional family members, friends, and associates lose sight of in YOUR negative opinions, is that police officers are human beings entitled to their opinions. And believe me, my opinions and feelings transcend racial/jurisdictional boundries, and reflect most police officer's thoughts and feelings when our integrity gets questioned by unthinking bigots like yourself. So once again, you may reflect the large opinion of the dysfunctional element in the ghetto, and I reflect what your kind has forced us to thinking when chronically servicing your needs and "problems." So in the future, if you have that much contempt for us; when somebody steals your car stereo, shoots up your house, or jumps on you,...call a friend to help. |

You took away my "disfunctional kind" of family etc.'s right to human feelings, emotions, and opinions.... If YOU want robots, who don't have human feelings like fear, and distrust sometimes, YOU should go work in Robotwood... PS- I love police everywhere, they don't know me, yet they help me.... to hell with your passionate disavowal of the facts that have come to be known to the long time residents of Maywood... Your post came off as hostile(did I spell that right?).You called (gave me) dis(dys)functional family and kind of people. I took that to be in response to what I'd posted about SOME MPD being corrupt. I said you took away our feelings and emotions the same as you said I"d taken away regards for policemen's feelings and emotions. I was being (or trying to be) funny in the way I stated it. Going back, now, with these references, can you now understand my post? ..and I will consider retaking what you call basic composition class (but not at Triton, I'll be at UIC), it may help me along the way in my college career. You learn/get something new here every time you indulge( did I spell that right?). That's why I come. Why do you? It seems to upset you so.... |

Enough with the parentheses! It only serves to muddle your already grammatically butchered attempt at a sarcastic response. Your in over your head kid. First make literal sense, then you can graduate to sarcastic hyperbole. Overuse of slash marks, where a conjunction would suffice, and parentheses when a comma would do just fine. All these things your future Composition 101 instructors will advise you when you get through those non-credit prerequisite courses you are in need of. See how easy it can be. Remember also to avoid sentence fragments.They only further confuse your attempt at making a point. Try not writing like you talk. Which seems to be the main flaw of youngsters today. I see it as a major failure of the educational system as a whole. The dumbing down of our nation and culture if you will. Lastly, proofread before you hit that irrevocable send / enter key! It will save you literary embarrassment in the future. Wow! That was fun! |
