I think that it is really a messed up situation that Maywood police can never find the people that are comitting these murders but yet they pull you over for not making a complete stop at a stop sign Maywood really needs to start doing a better job in their community I know who did this murder maybe i need to join the maywood force.

Maybe you should know your facts before you start talking out your a$%. Once again another idiot conclusion drawn from person's personal biases and applied towards the whole. Actually MPD's percentage for solving homicides is right around the national percentage for homicides that are solved by police departments nationally. Which is in the 50-60 percent range. I find it amusing that many people will criticize and accuse MPD of all sorts of corruption and misconduct when they solve a murder ( my favorites are that the accused is framed by MPD and that the police actually had a hand in the murder!) and when they haven't solved it the police aren't doing enough. And you wonder why many police officers have a us against them mentality?

bLUE BLOOD YOU ARE ALWAYS MAKING DUMB ASS COMMENTS. yOU DO NOT LIVE IN MAYWOOD SO YOU ONLY HEAR WHAT MAKES IT TO THE NEWS OR THE PAPER. IF YOU LIVED HERE AND HAS LIVED HERE FOR MORE THAN ONE YEAR, YOU WOULD KNOW WHY EVERYONE IS HARD ON THEM. HOW ABOUT WHEN YOU HAVE DETECTIVE FAMILY MEMBERS COMITTING SOME OF THE MURDERS AND YOU KNOW THE FAMILY MEMBER THAT DID THE MURDER AND YOU KNOW THEY WHERE NEVER CHARGED BECAUSE THEY HAVE FAMILY LIKE ZIMMERMAN ON THE FORCE HOW ABOUT THAT SMART ASS?

If you know who did it. Why haven't you contacted the police, since your a concern citizen. Its amazing a police offcer has no problem testifying at a case, but some of you so-call citizens that know so much don't have the dignity to say anything, but you keep the information to yourself. I thought citizen(s) are supposed to be the eyes. People were there at the time of the shooting, but refused to say anything. WHY?

First of all I do live in Maywood. Second I have more knowledge of the goings on in in the mpd than you ever will. Third what I do know is I don't post anything unless it is backed up with cold hard facts. Unlike you and many others who talk out their asses, who make accusations based on hearsay, gut feelings, biased perspectives, and personal life experiences, that always, conveniently fall into their preconceived, conspiratorial notions of MPD, or CPD, or any other law enforcement agency. I venture to guess that one does not have to dig too far into your family tree to discover that there is probably a serious criminal element in your family and probably most others who have such a poor opinion of MPD and any other law enforcement agency they have contact with. And last, if it is the people who "profit" from solving the cases (whatever that means)who are solving the cases, and people are getting wrongly CONVICTED, noticed I did not say accused. Then blame the people setting them up, the prosecutors prosecuting the case, and the jury and or the judges convicting them. The police merely bring the case and evidence to court based on what witnesses tell them and evidence they may have. But you seem need to lay all the blame on the police. Maybe it's you and those others who need to open your eyes.

Just as I suspected, the criminal element must surround you.

You must not read the paper about how Maywood police officers are coming up dead. Not only have you not heard that, but I am assuming that you did not know they are being killed by their own fellow officers. If they can not protect themselves, how will they protect us if we speak up/

Sometimes people do not know when to leave well enough alone. If the mpd is so smart then why is it the fbi has to come in and help to solve a murder when the killer walked into the station to turn himself in and they let him walk back out?

First of all "mr. insider" you have it all wrong. The feds are involved because they have lots of two things. Money and resources. If you were so part of mpd you would know that simple fact. Another fact for your ignorant self. The fbi was invited in by mpd. Secondly, if you are talking about who I think you are talking about, you obviously get your info second or third hand...because he never turned himself in...and there wasn't enough evidence to hold him...so there goes all those conspiracy theorist, police haters, who think that all the police do is set up innocent victims. Yea, mpd is sooo corrupt, then why didn't they just frame the guy who "walked in to turn himself in," instead of letting him, "walk back out." Or better yet, kill him. You would definitely shit if you knew who I was. But what I know about you is that you are just another misinformed idiot chiming in.

They had enough evidence to hold the guy when he walked in and confessed to killing him. they invited the fbi in to cover up what they screwed up. The mpd does not have money that is why they are one of the lowest paid police departments dumb ass. I get my info first hand because I am apart of the Mpd force one way or another.

Now I really know how misinformed you are. They actually are right smack in the avg pay for the surrounding area. Secondly, nobody ever walked in and confessed to Wood's murder, and your last statement ("I am apart (sic) of the Mpd force one way or another) reveals that you have no direct knowledge of anything. Once again, just another misinformed idiot chiming in.
