Trial is over. He was acquitted.
That witness is not credible. Actually few of those people probably had any decent credibility. This is therefore not an issue worth pursuing. |

Before R Kelly made it big, he used to hang out and chase the high scholl girls at Hyde Park H. S. He at that time could be found easily at or near the gas station on E, 53rd street......always with a large contigent of willing and youthful high schoolers (girls). There are several house keeping employees at Chicago Hotels that could have testify to his amorous behavior with young girls in and out of his rented rooms. But once again, justice in america is triumph by the color of money. Someday, somewhere he's going to run into a real father (man)

I am amazed that the Tribune censored our ability to comment on the R. Kelly verdict. The message board was strangely taken down the day of the verdict. The R. Kelly case had the back drop of a magic show for the unusual. What a shock to final out that hush money was in play. The case was not tried for 6 years is another first red flag. R. Kelly was acquitted for filming himself having sex with his god child. Like OJ he got away with a capital crime but I am sure that he will be back to the gray bar hotel soon.

Mark, I totally agree with you and I also think that the readers should not pay attention to her statement. If R. Kelly paid her the money then he would be broke trying to pay everyone to turn their copies of the tape over to him.
