Congrats to the Pens! Thank you a thousand times over for silencing this abomination of a fan base at least for the time being. Reading some comments on their board is pretty laughable. Wang nuts claim Bettmen and the refs conspired to win the series for the Pens. Some of their fans are so deluded they call their team the best team in all pro sports (I'll take the Canadiens/Yankees or the Champion Oilers 1984-1990 over the Wings any day but that's just me).
CHICO -you are correct. The pendulum is swinging away from Detroit. They are likely a bit past their apex now, and I really think the Hawks/Jackets/Blues will take a big toll on them during the regular season. I'd happily root for any other team (even the Nucks) over the Red Wings. Go Hawks! Go Jackets! Go Blues! Go Oilers!!! ANYONE BUT THEM!!!

I agree. If I recall from last year, I don't think the redwings to many boos when they received the cup in Pittsburgh. I'm sure there were some, but I don't recall as much as tonights. I had the pens out of the playoffs in february. To barely make it in, then end up winning the cup is a great accomplishment. Detroit is a strong team though, and they played their hearts out this series.
