Before all the finger pointing and mud slinging infest this board, I just want to thank the Cubs for a great year. It didn't turn out well in the playoffs. Tight. Desperate. Whatever. I know you cared and I know everyone is disappointed.

I repeat: Thanks, boys. It was a great season.

This is all part of being a Cubs fan.
Everyone was all excited just to make the playoffs, that alone is special in this town on the North side and that attitude should change.

Same crap as last year. Oh and by the way, IT AINT GOTTA HAPPEN!

Who knew the funniest thing on late-night Saturday TV would be watching the Cubs lose - again. You can't write comedy this funny.

On the bright side, tickets will be cheaper next season, with fewer fair-weather fans in attendance

Time to sell the team to Cuban and rebuild the team. Soriano has to go along with the other chokers (Fukudome, entire infield from game two, Dempster). This postseason stuff is getting old.
