Chicago White Sox rally falls short in 10-8 loss to Cleveland I...

Full story: Chicago Tribune

Clayton Richard was awful Thursday, and D.J. Carrasco wasn't much better. Those two shortcomings put the White Sox in an early rut that they couldn't overcome in a 10-8 loss to Cleveland that cost them a three-game sweep.

Maybe we should offer to trade him again. Then he'll come out and throw a 3 hitter. I think it's time for Poreda to get a look

The Sox are now 14 and 14 against the three worst teams in the league. They are 33-35 against the American league and have the tough part of the schedule coming up.

when a team walks 9 guys and serve up a grand slam to the 9th hitter you don't deserve to win the game. I think clayton just made his last start of the yr.

Richard was brutal today. I've seen enough of him. Let Poreda start.

Man Richard is horrible. He just is not a starter. Ozzie seriously needs to go off on him and give him a hard lecture, demote him to the bullpen and limit his innings. It's time for Poreda to get a chance as a starter.

Put Richard in AAA. He'll come around. Trade Brian Anderson for anybody you can get. He's a great team mate, but no confidence in his swing. If somebody could make him mad he would tear it up. Nix is a keeper. He will bite the piranahs.

It's time to end the Clayton Richard Project.

Sox should have sent him to the Padres anyway.

Go Sox Go, Go Sox Go Hey chicago, what do you say the Sox are going to LOSE TODAY. They got the power, they got the speed (hell no) to be the WORST in the American League. Go Go Twins,

Clayton Richard has to work on his footwork and pick off move. He's too long to the plate! Brian Anderson is a really good centerfielder, but he tries to pull everything! He's so pulled off to the left, everything flies out, his head shoulder. He needs to concentrate on hitting everything up the middle, everything! Stride toward the pitcher and hit it right back through the middle, instead of trying to jack it through the left field stands! It's old fashioned, but it works!

No big whoopin'. They came back but came up a bit short. Go up to the Hanky Dome and take some batting practice on the Twinkies.
The incentive is to sweep Minnesota and take a well deserved four day break. Then get ready for the run to the playoffs. Summer is heating up and so is the baseball in the great city of Chicago. Hope springs eternal and life is good.

I agree - just give Richard a one-way bus ticket out of here. That guy is horrible - he could be a starter for the Cubs.

Clayton Richard has a great arm & someday I expect will be a decent MLB pitcher. Today he should go back to AAA & learn his craft.I was fortunate had to make a living & did not watch game.Sox at least made a game out of it.Another series won & its on to the dome.

Richard, poreda, carraso ALLL suck! Richard is NOT a major league pitcher! His control and targeting is wild! poreda is OVER rated! and carraso who????

Richard and poreda remind of Brandon McCarthy! Now, look at what McCarthy is doing??? Sitting on the DL. He was the up and coming superstar pitcher for the White Sox...He's turning out to be a buster! TRADE Richard and poreda and get a PROVEN starter!!!

And the 2006 St.Louis Cardinals won only 85 games in the worst division in baseball that year the National League Central and won the World Series.

Danks, Floyd and Buehrle take the mound this weekend. I'll take my chances with those three over any three in the Minnesota rotation. The way the Sox rally on the road with those three horses pitching, sweep baby!

Whoa! Easy on the South side cool aid. We couldn't even sweep the Twins. The Cubs and Brewers both did. I guess us Sox fans can't continue to rag on the NL central now.

Sorry, I meant to say we couldn't even sweep the Indians like the Cubs & Brewers did.
