1 killed, 2 hurt in Southeast Side crash

I can honestly say that it is going to be very VERY VERY HARD to even begin to try and forgive Anna for the horrible mistake she made, choosing to drive while talking on a cell phone and for ignoring a RED light. True, my cousin should have had her seatbelt on, but bad mouthing people is not going to bring her back! What we really need is support and donations so we can lay her to rest.

another website said she didn't have a valid license, insurance, or anything. where do we donate at?

I have known Maria since we were in grammar school together. I love her and truly miss her. Just want to say sorry to her little angels and to her family. I will never forget you. Rest in Peace

The day it happend my sister came home and told me what went on. I heard so many stories of what happend. It's crazy how rumors or gossip start so fast. Sometimes I get into the car to drive down the block and don't put on my seatbelt. No one can blame the woman for not wearing her seatbelt. How did she know what was going to happen? How does anyone know? They don't know so you should always wear your seatbelt. But that is the thing, we should be doing this or that because it's safe and for our own good, but we don't do it. Because we don't think someone is going to run that red light while talking on the phone and kill someone so close to us. What about the law on cell phones, no talking on the phone while driving or soon to be law, i'm not sure but I know it's not recommended to talk on the phone while driving. People do it all the time never thinking of the consequences. If who ever did this gets away with it, or at least off easy because they say the woman wasn't wearing her belt are nuts! Regardless of the belt or not, my friend died the same way, she had her belt. BUT her body was found in the back seat. So tell me, would it have mattered? Maybe, but we'll never know. We should stick with what we do know. The facts of this incident. It's horrible what happend. And it's sick to see people say things about race and blame it on race. Regardless of race, a human being is a human being.
