Where in the private sector can you get health care for a 100 bucks a month? It could have been extended to everyone in the form of a public option but Republicans apparently prefer to see private companies raising rates every year in order to pay the CEO’s millions. BTW, private insurers will be providing the coverage under Obamacare. It’s just that now 85 percent of your premiums will actually go toward your care instead of instead of some CEO’s bank account.

the westerner wrote: <quoted text> Just for you: For his book “The Amateur: Barack Obama in the White House,” which hits bookstores this week, Klein interviewed Wright for three and a half hours. Wright told him of Obama’s secret efforts to keep him quiet during the presidential campaign. But the more significant material spotlights how important Wright was to Obama’s thinking even before the future president began going to Wright’s church in 1988. Rev. Jeremiah Wright, former pastor of the Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago. (Getty Images) “It’s one thing for Obama to sit in the church and listen to the Rev. Wright spew his hatred against whites, Jews, and America,” Klein says.“But in my view, having spoken to the Rev. Wright, that paled by comparison with the personal relationship that Obama had that went way beyond his simply being a member of the church listening to all this stuff.” Obama began his relationship with Wright, whom he has called a mentor and sounding board, three years before he began attending Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago. Read more on Newsmax.com : Rev. Wright Was a Second Father to Obama Many Pastors across America do in fact say the dumbest things gunslinger. I for one could never sit in church long enough to listen to any of it, but then I would never aspire to run for any office. I think you missed what Wright really said in that article. Wright also made some intriguing claims about the Obama family and its purported lack of interest in attending church. Since assuming office, the president has consistently faced criticism over his infrequent church attendance. According to Wright, this is par for the course. “Church is not their thing. It was never their thing,” Wright says of Barack and Michelle Obama.“She was not the kind of black woman whose momma made her go to church, made her go to Sunday school…so the church was not an integral part of their lives before they got married — after they got married.” After Wright made these comments, Klein said,“But the church was an integral part of his politics…because he needed that base.” Wright agreed with this statement, at one point saying “correct.” http://www.theblaze.com/stories/church-was-no...

You really can't be this damn stupid!! Poppo wrote: <quoted text> Medicare for one. Where in the private sector can you get health care for a 100 bucks a month? Just because you are paying $100/month don't think for one minute that's all it costs. Someone else is paying your way poopoo, ask anyone who receives a paycheck!! And you know that little thing called the national debt- yeah, that's your $100 medicare plan. If government was a business, they would have locked the doors a long time ago. This is the problem with you liberal idiots, you think something only costs what the government takes from you personally. Poppo wrote: <quoted text>

Fake Pilot is the idiot that can't understand that "quoting a fact" (ex: if you make more than $200,000 and have cadillac coverage you will pay a tax) is somehow different than making shit up out of thin air (ex: there are death panels). Not a shock really - Fake Pilot has proven that there are a great number of facts he can't come to grips with.

akpilot wrote: <quoted text> You're an idiot.. Name one thing the Government has EVER provided that was cheaper than the private sector through pure supply and demand? Easy : Health care. Friend of mine's wife in Newark having a baby any day now.$30,000 he has to pay out of pocket. He's not insured, as he is self-employed and premium would have been $1,000 per month. Same birthing procedure here in Canada, 100% paid for by universal health plan, and depending on province, will cost anywhere from $3,000 to max $6,000. Quite a difference, no? Oh, and our doctors, who earn less, are not yet on welfare, believe me. And that $e,ooo to $6,000 is paid for by all taxpayers, thereby reducing individual costs by huge margins as NOT everyone, specially the under-40 group, requires constant medical care.

the westerner wrote: <quoted text> More dissembling. The term "cheapest coverage" will have no meaning in the future with Obamacare. Actually I'm pretty darn healthy and careful, probably won't be needing any of those things. My pockets are deep enough, thru my own hard work and ingenuity, to not need someone else supporting me. h yeah? Think you are immune from cancer, heart disease, MS, etc? Or an accident? Check out the cost of surgery where you are, the minimum surgery, tonsils even. Then check out open heart surgery. People like you would not even have automobile insurance if it was not forced on you because you think you are such a superb driver, the way you are such a superb physical specimen that you'll never be sick. Dream on.
