What a shame that a woman would want to kill her own baby so bad that she was willing to put her own life in such danger.

I'm waiting to see how the pro"choicers" are going to spin this to try to put the blame on prolifers.

Vile right wingers will use this tragic isolated incident to further their barbaric agenda and shove their ridiculous religious beliefs down the throats of normal educated people! If you don't believe3 in abortion then don't have one but stay the hell out of the personal lives of others!

You don't consider leaving a woman to bleed for over 5 hours barbaric? How about withholding medical information from the hospital, thereby delaying proper medical intervention?

Townhall is not "news," and anything REMOTELY negative involving PPH is front page news. Planned Parenthood saves lives.

A fetus is not a baby, and it is not "putting your life in danger" to have an abortion, it's among the safest medical procedures. A woman is 14 times more likely to die from childbirth.

Anyone care to name a medical facility that services millions every year that does NOT have a fatality or two? Things go wrong; it happens. When are they going to investigate the horrific conditions at most veterans' hospitals?

I don't know which is more despicable; the politicians using this to score points with the teabaggers or the PLM zombies who are already making stupid remarks right here on this forum.

Why isn't congress investigating the 200+ deaths each year from giving birth?

Nobody should be blamed, nobody is blaming the anti-choice movement. It was and is a tragic accident.

It's a tragic accident that they allowed her to bleed for over 5 hours without getting her to a medical facility that could take proper care of her?

I have borne children and they were babies before and after they were born. People used to ask "what's the baby's name" or if Iknew whether it was a girl or a boy. A fetus is very much a living moving baby.

I'm not buying this story. If someone bleeds heavily for 5.5 hour, they are dead. Period. I am also interested as to why that other facility could not stop the bleeding either. I want6 to see the autopsy report before making further judgments.

Nice to see the teabaggers in washington are already exploiting this for their political ends, though. Since this ws not done through government funding, though, they ae going to have a tough time of it.

I would bet the clinic where this happened is subsidized by the Government. Otherwise they could not jump in to investigate. It would be a private matter.

That story was pretty well slanted. Not a lot of facts, but plenty finger pointing, and demonizing of Planned Parenthood. She may have died from a medical procedure, and possibly there was some kind of negligance, but that remains to be seen, and this story doesn't have nearly enough information to make any kind of judgement.
Kind of a lame story, simply put out there to make people mad at Planned Parenthood.

The GOP says that after a tragedy like in Aurora, we should not re-open the gun control debate...it's settled law.
Same here. 1 death, for so far completely unknown reasons, is not the time to reopen the Abortion debate...it's settled law.
