Why call for firing a Daley under link when Daley is the one who must go. Get rid of them all and start over.

Daley can't fire Tristan he would lose the illegal vote. On second thought, maybe if he can keep this quiet from Gutierrez it will work.

Lying is strongly encouraged in the Daley Administration. The example starts from the top. he won't be fired as he did just what da crooked mayor wanted him too do. Daley belongs in prison.

I'm sure Tristan is a liar but Chicagoans continue to vote for corrupt Democratic political hacks like Daley decade after decade....what did you expect.

Chicagoans just love corruption--their city is a national poster child for corrupt city government.

Who do you bet gets fired first, Tristan or Hoffman? One bet the size of the Olympic guaranty on the latter.
Tristan said politics "does not enter or bleed into anything that I do in my job."
Of course not. Since Harold Washington vs. Bernie Epton, Chicago elections have been officially "nonpartisan." And the sky is Sap Green today, according to painting shows on WYCC.

And I guess that "Chicago Latino 100" is the new name for HDO.

Oh Mr. Del Valle, covering up for his cronies too.
Wow, the corruption in this city is so deep even the guy who reports the votes is corrupt.

Homero Tristen is Corrupt but no different than his predecessors.

Daley wants to run the city like the private industry. But what Daley don't understand, private industry don't hire people basic on political connections. When private industry make cut backs, it start with the admistration first, then the employees.

But instead, he's selling anything that is connected with the city for less, given contracts to his family/friends, wasting money on bs, and wants city employees, except for him and the aldermen; to do furlough days.

The real question in everyone's mind in Chicago is how much longer are we going to tolerate the scandals of an all powerful mayor. Instead of firing Homero Tristan, we should be thinking of firing the mayor himself!

"politics does not enter or bleed into anything that I do in my job"

Who is stupid enough to beleive this line from Mr. Tristan?

I suppose he got his job from the Tribune Want Ads.

At this point, the City Inspector General is not allowed to investigate members of City Council for alleged fraud, waste, and abuse.

If you are on Face Book, I would encourage you to join the group "Accountability for Chicago City Council". The purpose of this group is to pressure City Council to change this practice.

Currently, only 14 aldermen are supportive of this change.

Mayor Shortshanks will back Tristan unless the proof is overwhelming and the media keep the heat on. In which case, Tristan will be tossed to the curb and some other groveling ass-kisser will beg hizzoner to take his place.

Homero Tristan: 2004 graduate of UNO's (you know, the not-for-profit that received 98 million dollars to open charter schools in the city, featured in the Tribune on June 22) leadership training program. Is this what Chicago can expect of UNO's future graduates?
