Immigration issue fizzles again

Well said. We need comphrehensive bill. We are talking about human lives and their future. We need our borders secure but we need to fix our broken immigration system. If someone has lived here over 10 years, paid taxes and proven to be a good citizen, they shoud be granted legalization. Thats the kind of immigrants we need to build for future. Just crying out loud need to fix our immigration system won't work, until something is done soon. The kids who already have been here since their childhood, should be given some kind of status so they can pursue their American dream. Thats what America stands for "FREEDOM". We have changed our views so much just to please these politicians, who really cares for nothing just for themselves and their hypocrysy. Wake up Americans, be what our country stands for.

I have no faith in any candidate running for office. I have absolutly no faith that anything will change for the better. the fact remains is this. Bunch of people are cheering for Ron Paul. Out of all the Policies Ron Pauls are the best. But reality is, is that He will not get elected. It will be whoever wins for the Dems. This is fact.

our taxes will go up.
immigration will get worse.
more american jobs will be outsourced.
education will get worse
and our debt will rise.

We already give illegals reduced tuition rates we don't give to legal citizens ... If we give them amnesty and citizenship we not only leap them in front of foreigners seeking to come here legally, we leap them to the front of hiring and promotion lines in front of legal citizens due to "affirmitive action"! We legalized the illegals that came here in the eighties. What did we get? Millions more illegals. Amnesty is not the answer. Deport the criminals. Make it if your parents came here illegally you are not automaticly a citizen. Look at the rules to immigrate into mexico. Make the incomming aliens face the same rules that we face if we try to immigrate to mexico

We do need to secure our borders and ports. But our immigration system is not broken. The laws are there. What is broken is our Government's refusal to enforce our laws. That is why individual states and cities are stepping forward to do the job our Government refuses to do.

An ILLEGAL alien who has invaded and infiltrated this country for over ten years is still a CRIMINAL. A CRIMINAL who has been breaking our laws for a very long time. They should receive no special treatment over an ILLEGAL alien who has invaded and infiltrated this country for 5 minutes.

Agreed. That's why states are stepping forward like Az. and Ga. requiring all businesses to check the legal status of their employees. By stopping the criminals who are hiring ILLEGAL aliens from doing so, we can end this invasion.
