Yes, that's true. The Republicans constantly raise taxes. But it wouldn't matter so much if you made more than 75 bucks a year.<quoted text>
Same old story.... taxes taxes taxes. Well I'm taxed out and 2010 will soon be here.

Do you NOT read? No assumptions.
Try again.

Precisely how much more are you paying in taxes now? That is RIGHT NOW, as in in this moment in time.
|
||||
What's your point? Six months down the road do you think I'll just be able to say "but as of 7/8/09 I was paying x-amount and that's all you're gonna get" and get away with it? |

It's a wsj opinion piece. Facts are up for grabs. Read the two opinion pieces from the wsj about the Franken-Coleman election to give some context. |

I guess people like you who sleep with sheep would consider humans "alternative." |

By the way, next time you reply to a post, try and keep the original post language and not your deepest, darkest, secrets. Shouldn't you be spending time trying to figure out who hacked all those government sites and not trolling message boards or looking at yout favorite animal porn? |

No, the Minnesota Supremes were guided by the reams of documents secured by Secretary of State Mark Ritchie and the "crew" he had surrounded himself with, none of whom, had any desire at all not to pay back the Democratic Party. Hence, there were the numerous cases of "lost" votes suddenly being found in the trunk of cars owned by Democratic leaning voter judges as well as a number of votes from more rural areas that should have gone to Coleman, being disregarded entirely in favour of a number of "newly found" votes that just happened to show up in the final days of the recount - most of whom were from the highly Democratic districts in Hennepin County (Minneapolis). If nothing else, it sure makes you wonder, huh? |
||||
Seems someone has forgotten about the 72 straight months of economic growth during the Bush Presidency. This "mess" of an economy didn't start in earnest until such time as Barney Frank and Christopher Dodd were through mucking up our banking system by granting loans to people that either had no means of paying for the houses they purchased, or, couldn't afford to continue to pay for something that was clearly over their heads. Go back and do some homework, you dimwit. Oh, and lay off the Bush-is-to-blame for everything negative that ever happened in American history. It makes you sound so...so...(what's the word?)....simple? |

I'm sorry, Mr. Kenosha, but apparently you're unaware of the criminal investigations of ACORN that are currently underway in at least 12 states. And proceeding quite vigorously I might add, since the ACORN members about to be indicted in these tawdry affairs all seemed to leave an abundance of evidence corroborating the charges against them. What is striking about all of this is that even with the prima facie evidence clearly in hand, the prosecuting attorneys in each state must still weigh the value of prosecuting these cases versus the political fallout it will create amongst the Democratic rank and file members (read: the allegedly disenfranchised "black voters")and its impact on any Dem politician or AG who supports prosecution. As for your distinction between "voter fraud" and "voter registration." I think you'll find that one is inextricably linked to the other, and that both aspects of the charges they're facing will be on trial should it come to that. In the meantime, the Obama administration will continue to funnel billions into this organization, all with the hopes of doing in 2010 what it did so well in 2008. |
||||
Two Cents; when in your lifetime did you ever see tax legislation signed into law that didn't take some time to make its way through the House and Senate? And when it finally did make its final voyage through to passing, did it not become either "retroactive" or "immediate" once signed into law? This gentlemans comments were not made in an "immediate' sense. He was talking about what was coming down the pike with regard to the Cap and Trade legislation currently being considered. And, if you're in such favour of this onerous and economy destroying legislation, why don't you get a headstart on the whole thing and start sending in your fair share now? You are for paying more taxes and more governmental control over our lives, no? Or is it just that you like to beat up on people who don't automatically agree with you on one of your favourite subjects? |

1 Funny comment coming from a guy in Piss-cataway, New Jersey. Talk about a humorous place that few people on this thread would even like to drive through let alone live in! |

Thank you... you're correct. And maybe MTC should review the salaries paid to some of Obama's cronies to get an idea of who's responsible for what. http://tinyurl.com/ph2te |

1 Your response is full of half-truths and falsehoods. What newly found ballots are you speaking of? Votes in "trunks of cars" is a myth. "as well as a number of votes from more rural areas that should have gone to Coleman, being disregarded entirely"--where and when? These wild charges are brought up but never substantiated. Coleman had a trial to bring any irregularities to the fore and did not. His attorney said there was no voter fraud. |

1 When someone has to resort to calling someone else a "dimwit", it tells me that they have nothing informed or rational to say. And you criticize "Bush-is-to-blame-for-eve rything", just after pulling a Barney-Frank-and-Christopher-D odd-are-to-blame-for-everythin g in your previous paragraph... Simple (and feeble) indeed. |

1 Simply wrong and you present NOTHING to back up that statement. There are criminal cases against ACORN, but most of them are trumped up witch hunts orchestrated by over-zealous, desperate, fear-filled Republicans. Funny that you don't include the CONVICTED Republicans in your blather about voter registration fraud. Your outrage seems pretty selective. |
