Anyway...try the bucket of water trick (bucket nearly full) with a board ramp leaning against the side of the bucket.

Those rodents are so stupid they'll climb up and fall in every time!

the only way i know how to trap, as in hunt, squirrels is the way that they die. that's the point. otehrwise, they try to run away when you're coming at them with a fork.

if it's a live trap, as in removal, then it's pretty freaky, but there isn't enough info to tell. the story doesn't even sound like he was live trapping them.

maybe they were eating his garden. that's a good reason to kill them. squirrels will dig up your garden. they aren't cool about leaving it alone.

Squirrels are a menace, especially if you try and maintain a garden. The only thing you can hope for is that an auto makes them into roadkill. Where are the coyotes when you need them?

Wabbits!

What is the problem with this except the old guy was not discreet in getting rid of the dead squirrels? Squirrels are not endangered and can be a pest. Too many around can be a problem. They need to trapped and removed . if that means killed , so be it. Berwyn is not the wilderness. it has been a residential community for over 100 years. Focus on something important - not some dumb rodent.

Is it possible to talk this guy into trapping wild gangbangers and leaving them to die as well?
It would be greatly appreciated.

Their's plenty of people who I find to be much more menacing than squirrels where are the gang bangers when you need them?!

I think he needs a new hobby.If he wants to get rid of them that's his decision,but don't kill them.
