The first time I saw this fool on TV I knew he was a complete fraud. It would take someone that was brain-dead to buy anything from this man.

Trudeau is a fraud - a nobody. I picked up one of his books one time that was supposed to be about new ways to inprove one's life and health. But, many of the chapter titles talked about nothing more than old, widely known information.

Any "diet" that includes foods high in saturated fats and processed foods aren't going to work in a healthy, lasting way! Hellooooooo. ;-)
most people I know that eat way less than I do are way fatter. I think you slow your metabolism by cutting calories. It's really about eating whole grains, fruits, veggies, limiting oils and eliminating all animal products from your diet to be thin and healthy

I agree with many of Treudeau's "opinions". Most of what he claims about weight loss is common sence. Excercise more, eat less, eat better....duh. The problem is in today's society of get everything fast, like one of the Comcast commercials show..with the skinny man that does one squat and instantly he's buffed and in shape. Many people are looking for an "easy", "no work needed", "pop a magic pill"weight loss system. Look, it was easy to stuff your face and put on the weight, no one said it would be easy to take it off. What some viewers might be upset about is the fact that it may not be easy for them...to think any different is just being ignorant.

I'm a vegetarian but I disagree that cutting out animal products is the way to be thin and healthy. It's just a matter of burning what you take in...doesn't matter if it's steak or a salad.

I used to work at GNC, and everyone who came in for diet products was looking for some "magic bullet" that would trim away the pounds with minimal effort. The easiest way to chase one of these customers out of the store was to mention the "e-word": Exercise.

Hey, don't forget the International Pool Tour that Trudeau sponsored The winners of this highly publicize event were promised cash prizes that were never delivered in full. As far as I know, the tournament has been suspended indefinitely.

For those who say "too bad" to all of those ripped off by this man, I say that we must protect the most vulnerable members of our society. Think about the elderly who shell out money for Trudeau's All Nature Cures book because they have health concerns. Hopefully, this scam artist will get his due when he is hauled in front of the judge.

SO, this is the afternoon's lead story? Where is the Tribune coverage of today's presentation of the Medal of Honor (posthumously) to the parents of Lt. Michael Murphy for his valorous actions in service of this country?

Exactly!!! I have Multiple Sclerosis & Pre-Diabetes & I only listen to my doctors. After switching to a low sugar & well balnced diet, I have lost 20 pounds & still counting. Remember, this is with minimal exercise due to my MS. A healthy person can really kick butt. A Nutritionist referred by your Primary Doc is a huge plus. Ignore all of this "miracle" crap, see your Doc.

My landlady gave me his book and swore it was the best thing ever. I am a chef with an extensive background in nutrition and dietary needs of people with cancer. I laughed so hard at some of his "cures" I fell off my chair. Then I thought about my landlady who does not seem to know any better and I got really sad. But because he is a best seller and her doctor is not published, she believes it. I worry about the risk this places her at for all sorts of disease.

They should eliminate all infomercials! Okay...so maybe that's too much to ask. Alternative, give them a few stations which include constant repeat messages across the screen that reads "this is only the opinion of the person selling the product and not representative of the station. In addition "all claims made in this advertisement are not founded by any reputable organization including the FDA. Purchase at your own risk!!"
