Ok ok I guess I gotta be the first person to leave a comment... but what were her parents THINKING, letting her leave the house in this "I wanna get laid" dress???? There is nothing to it, and nothing underneath, or so I hear. Parenting, is it becoming a lost art, or what???

IT IS BAD. A WOMAN, TO BE IS MORE ATTRACTIVE WHEN SHE DRESSES IN SOMETHING THAT LESS REVEALING. i LIKE CLEAVAGE, I LIKE TO SEE LEGS, BUT RESPECT OF ONESELF SHOULD BE IMPORTANT TO A LADY. THERE IS A TIME AND PLACE FOR IT ALL.

She's 17 - already has a tattoo on her upper breast - certifiable HOE! Will be on welfare soon!

Get over yourself! This girl makes her own clothes and has her own fashion. First of all you don't even know how to spell HO and second of all, way to go for the minority welfare hit. What's wrong with welfare? Believe it or not, some people do not make enough money to live off of. I am one of them. You all digust me at your snap judgments and your insecurity.Just because she isn't wearing what you would pick out for yourself or your daughter does not mean she is uneducated in the least! Get with it! Poodle skirts have been out for a while and mini skirts are in. Believe me neither I nor any of my family members would be wearing this outfit, but I think it's okay if someone else wants to. Whatever happened to don't judge a book by it's cover. Don't even make me go into double standards!

obviously the dress is revealing, but every high school has a dress code. Who doesn't knwo that already?? She just made the wrong decision in the dress. Im sure if it were a little longer and not showing so much in the top then she probably would have gotten in. Its so sad her parents didnt make sure she was the least bit covered up. Bad parenting, and the wrong choice in fashion. And for the chick Holly, you must be some crazy ass female who is taking up for this girl for no reason at all. I mean what does it show to young girls seeing that, that it is okay. What if it were your daughter?? Do you really think you would let her walk out the house looking like that. No, Im very sure you wouldnt because of what people might think. Everyone has an image to uphold and hers was not the right one. In the interview she sounded ghetto and ignorant anyway.

Yeah, the dress is pretty slutty, but she even offered to cover up, and they still wouldn't let her in...I definitely don't think she deserved to get arrested...what happened to schools calling parents when something goes wrong?

I don't think the dress is a problem, but we are talking about Texas (White State) & a "Black" young lady. I think this is more an issue of DISCRIMINATION more than school dress code. Watch your language people - you call someone a whoe or a slut only if this person has slept with a 100 men and she loves it. When someone has a good looking body & she wants to be more revealing - she has the right to do that & that is what we call FASHION. It would have been different if a FAT woman tried to wear the same dress she was wearing. So, don't judge her for what she wore. I would judge the people who forbade her for having a good time at her Prom. Shame on those people - had she been drunk and started stripping then it would have been a different story. How could you forbade her from enjoying her last night in High School. SHAME ON THOSE WHO SECURITY - this is just a classic case of DISCRIMINATION. If she were white and blond - would you have done the same!!!

That is my opinion.

Excuse me but talking about dicrimination...your statement that if she was fat it would be a different story is more discriminatory than the event we're talking about! White, black, yellow or green, that dress is not appropriate for a school event!

Ridiculous choice for the prom. Please don't give her anymore attention, it is obviously what she wants. I don't care if she is black, white, red or whatever, her parents should of never let her out of the house and she should of been a little bit smarter about her choices. Next she will be suing the school. Give me a break!!!!

The girl DID THIS TO GET ATTENTION, I can almost guarantee she knew this was wrong.
She doesnt seem very educated in the way she talked on tv and I just love the part when she said I had no underwear on ( rolls eyes )
young girls need to be taught that showing off your body like a hooker is wrong. She wanted to be center of attention and now she's known as the ghetto prom disaster

Call me old fashioned, but a dress is one piece, not two. I wouldn't call this a dress, but a could of scraps of fabric, meant to call attention to oneself. Wonder what she wears on the beach? Probably a couple of shoe laces.

Buddy wrote: I wonder if she is actually graduating? How dare u Buddy, actually insult her intelligence by making such an absurd accusation. How can u imply assumptions of that nature based soley off of 1 outfit? Honestly, I really don't see the big deal! If that is the way SHE wants to dress then who the hell are WE to tell her any differently. What crime has she committed for wearing a skimpy dress?? NONE!! Is she hurting anyone?? NO!! When J-lo wore a similar skimpy dress to the awards was she arrested?? Hell No!! Why is she any different?? Dresses like these are designed all the time by Gucci, Versace, BCBG and stars wear them frequently and recieve NO back lash from it. Instead they are praised as being stylish, sleek, and sexy. So perhaps more of you bloggers should think before you type and stop judging so much.

She is a hoe just like her momma. The good thing is she will be dead in a few years and we won't have to keep her on the welfare like her momma.

How could you put down someone like that DCV. You act as if she has AIDs and is spreading instead of wearing a revealing dress. Dont get me wrong it is not my type of dress or one for my child, but she does not deserve to be spoken about in that manner. She is a human being. And who are you to criticize her or her family when you dont even know them. You know what they say misery loves company. So I am assuming that you are at your lowest.
