I am not sure who you are, how you got my email address and how you have details about the sentence Mr Franklin could possibly receive in this case. If two of your children were dead I doubt that you would think that the sentence was harsh-probably quite the opposite, you would think it wasn't enough. I can cite to you several cases, here in Mecklenburg county alone within the last two years where the defendant's were charged with and plead guilty to second degree murder in connection with a DWI fatality. I have to decide each case on it's individual facts and merits. Mr Franklin in fact could face up to 245 months in prison for both cases for a total of 490 months in jail-thats over 40 years. A sentence of 15 years is pretty light in comparison with that alternative.
