I'll bet the 220 residents of Rembrandt, Ia are sure proud of being one of the egg-laying capitals of the US. Maybe that explains why Glen Taylor's Wolves manage to have rotten egg's all over this franchise every year.

Sounds like Brewster recruited a bunch of stupid kids that can't play football.

Jerry Kill's job has become tougher than expected with word that as many as 16 of the new Gophers football coach's 85 scholarship players will have to improve academically to be eligible for spring practice that begins March 24.

Can't we suck with smart players?

There has to be a few good athletes who can play football who aren't dumber than a rock and/or have the maturity to appreciate that they are being given a free education in exchange for playing football. Not rocket science here!

Shooter you have no clue on this subject, isn't against the law to discuss grades of individual players, unless the the U of M releaseses it. So Shooter is this is speculation? I would be very surprised if anyone with University of Minnesota ties came out an said, we have 16 players are in trouble and not sure they can take part in spring drills. Before the little birdie starts to be like the National Inquire, maybe he should know what he is talking about first instead of just posting something.

Is you is in my remediall english 101 class?

i remember seeing sean lumpkin play high school football. i thought he was hell of an athlete then and i guessed he would eventually be an NFL star at running back. i was wrong about the position but he sure was a stud player.

Do you still "hang out" down in Loring Park after the bars close and recruit "players?"

Daily Horoscope for June 1

Libra

Feeling impatient? There's a lot you want to achieve this morning, so don't hang around. Venus is working for you, so get as much done as possible, because later in the day the Moon slinks into Scorpio, and you won't be very pleased if things get in your way. If you're faced with a logistics problem, the best way to solve it may be to throw money at it, but only if you've got the funds to begin with.
