and just when are the Twins going to get the big guns back in the lineup? Gardy doesnt push them, they come back when they want to, if they arent in a contract year, they dont hurry back from the DL..

even when the big guns were playing, they were losing. The team with the exception of Kubel needs a severe gut check. Perhaps a manager that is less of a buddy and more of a boss. Same thing happened at the end of Tom Kelly's managment run.

The headline is correct "the Twins are not toast this season". Toast is hard and everything about the Twins this season is soft. In other words, the Twins are more like soft, soggy bread rather than toast.

It's good to see Tom Lehman doing so well this year! He is a great representative of Mnnesota! Keep it going Tom!:-)

If you really believe that-you are hopeless. This team is going nowhere with washed-up overpaid players and a numbskull manager.

The Twins regulars who are out now are going to trickle back, and they will probably not come out of the gate playing their best. We should hang on and expect a rough ride the rest of the way. Let's hope the the Twins can make it interesting, as Revere did with his slide into home last night. And, the Twins might get to see another prospective, Gibson, pitch to get some idea of whether he could be the ace the Twins haven't had since trading Santana.

Guttless Gardy lost the team in the playoffs during the yankees when he didn't have liriana bean A-roid after they beaned Thome. He is a yellow bellow coward and the twinks will never be the same after this humiliation. They are toast.

The managers in the AL central are nothing if not collegial. It's nice that Leyland feels this way, and the past bears out his reasons for it, but I will be surprised (pleasantly) if the Twins are in the mix this season. Morneau is not back to his pre-concussion skill level, the middle infield is a mess, and the bull pen ... well, enough has been said already.

Corey Brewer is at best an NBA journeyman, and the Wolves gave him plenty of time to develop and he just didn't.

Leyland is apparently on drugs. This Twins team will lose at least 90 games. Morneau and Cuddyer should be traded immediately if there are any takers. Morneau is like Culpepper after he was injured; lousy! Cuddyer is on a pace for only 24 RBIs this year and consistently hits into double plays. Dump the big salaries and go with the rookies. Bat Revere second and put Tolbert and Casilla at 8 and 9 respectfully.
