In viewing TP's skills, I see him as a CFL quaterback and not an NFL QB. His release is quick but the speed of his passes seem moderate, not quick.

I wish him the best of luck however in his future endeavors.

So here's my vision of Pryor the Lier's future - one year in Canada, 18 months in jail or rehab, 2 years as a used car salesman, then welfare. Why are we still hearing about this complete waste of human flesh?

I believe you left out the part where TP tells the 7/11 clerk to open the drawer and hand over the cash.....

If he did get cash/checks and it is proven, although his lawyer says no .... but if it is provrn then he should have the book threw at him .... and if it is proven he didnt .... then whomever started the rumors/lies should also have the book threw at them and a National apology should be given to Pryor, Tress and OSU !

I wish him the best of luck. He was a very good QB and as the Iowa coach said. He beat us with a play no other QB could have made. His MVP bowl awards were also earned. Inconsistant he was but many college QB's are.
What the guy did, was in effect, trash the OSU program and we will never know what went through his mind.
for many, that was a sin that created all the hate from some. For me, I think he was probably told that his name wouldn't be associated with the items and he thought he could get one more year of play before he had to worry about it. Maybe to him and the others, they just did't put the importance on what they did that they should have. Who knows.
He wasn't trash, a thug or the many names thrown at him. Those are by people with an agenda, race, expected QB of the century that fell short or what ever.
I expect we will see him on Sundays after the hard work he puts in to belonging there. He is an athlete for sure.

Yesterday, I descirbed the SportsbyBrooks article as a smoking gun. Today, Brooks has dropped a smoking WMD on your cow farms.

The cheating has been going on for years using devices such as Varsity O Memorabilia. Among the OSU notables who signed memorabilia for Talbott were A.J. Hawk, James Lawrinaitus, Maurice Wells, Greg Oden, Mike Conley, Chris Wells, Mike D'Andrere, Troy Smith, Quinn Pitcock and ...wait for it... yes, none other than Jim Tressell.

As we say down here in these parts, you cow farmers are in deep doo doo.

Regards,
Mike Slive

Tennessee Jerry is one of the only voices of reason here. Anyway, hate to sound like and appologist, but I really think the kid was just ignorant. Too ignorant to appreciate his skills and too ignorant to know what he was doing to ruin himself, and those around him. I had an 8th grade teacher get in my face once and screamed at me until he cried a little and I cried a lot. Changed my life. I stopped cheating, lying and stealing from that day on. Maybe nobody got in Terrell's face when he was young enough to be affected by it. Who knows. I didn't have world class talent, but I was smart enough to know that my teacher was right. My parents did their job, But I was a selfish punk and thought I was above them. That teacher affected me. I never expected a confrontation from him, but I think about it every time I'm about to screw something up. I'm 48 years old and still to this day think that guy saved me from myself when I was 14 years old. I hope TP recovers from this and finds success. More so, I hope Tress recovers from this. He's the one that really got screwed.

The problem with your vision is that he does not carry the same baggage that Clarett did. No indiction that he runs with the wrong crowd, no trouble with the law before college and the only issues there have been with his driving which is an affliction for a double digit portion of all young adults (and down here apparently it extends well into their 50s as we had two state assembly men talk about doing over 100 mph on their motorcycles then going 145 on a major highway. Because they talked about in the General Assembly they are immune from any prosecution).

Pryor is going to do better than most expect (or most hope). I am glad he is gone but he will fit right in to the NFL. Maybe not as a quarterback (as long as he is open to other options) but I think he will have a good career if not a great one.

So Mike, this is how it works here in Columbus OH? We are the only college football crazy town that enjoys looking at signed memorabilia in restaurants and executive offices? Really? Just Columbus OH? Just Ohio State? Wow. Maybe I should move to Florida, or Texas, or California, or Illinois, or NC, or VA, or NY,.....

"In his mind I think he wants to go to a place where it's all about his conditioning and getting his mind set," James said. "I wouldn't think (Ohio State) would be the most conducive place for him to really get everything he needs to get going."

How about Levinworth. Adios Terrell.

No, it may in fact be happening at a lot of places. Flabuck mentioned yesterday that he had noticed a lot of memorabilia for sale that was signed by Dennard Robinson. Of course, it's the money that's the key, if Robinson is being paid money by a Michigan booster to sign those items, then it's just a illegal as what has taken place at OSU, and I hope Michigan gets caught also.

Yes, but he is being empowered by his mother, his ex-coach, his "advisor", etc., etc. Sooner or later one has to take responsibility for their own actions, don't you think? We're talking about a 20-21 year old man, yes...man....who knows better. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to understand that when your driving multiple, high-end cars on dealer plates or getting nice chunks of cash handed to you that you are doing something wrong. Naive....no way.

During the Sugar Bowl the color guy, Todd Blackledge said "Ohio State is the most SEC like team in the country, that's not actually in the SEC". Turns out he was spot on there Mr. Commish.
