I had a christmas wish list as a kid, and I had to learn that what I wanted and what fit into mom and dad's budget was two different things. None of the 3 coaches would touch the Gophers with a 10 foot pole. They've done it to themselves. You'll have to look a little lower on the college food chain for the next coach. Brewster gave us all those 3 and 4 star guys, somebody ought to be able to coach them. Mason didn't get many of those and he got a lot of mileage out of his players, many of whom are still playing in the NFL.

Go for the L's. Levitt or Leach. They are both available, they would both take the job. They are both proven winners. Finally they would both like to prove , what a mistake, their former schools made,

I've ate at Tinucci's ....the food sucks .....would never go back even if it was free .... hasn't this cry baby owner of Tinucci's gotten enough free advertisement .... Moss had the balls to tell the guy his food sucks .... big deal .... I'll bet every restraunt in the world gets complaints daily from someone about their food .... why would one of the Wilf's have to call to apologize....let me guess , Childo is such a moron he can't do it

Please don't post anymore, you're obviously under qualified to post and as also as a food critic.

I agree. But it remains to be seen if they convince one of these guys to take the job and if they are willing to pay for a higher profile coach. Also, I would hope that they leave out the contract anything like "Lou Holtz's Notre Dame clause".

you see the problem with your buddy Moss's statement wasn't whether it was accurate or not, it was about being a professional, and having some manners, instead of acting like a typical hood rat.

Good people don't act like that.

I'd assume after the Brewster debacle, there is a TON of pressure to get a competent coach in here. We can only hope that it pans out, and they have a quality group helping them find this person.

I can handle an honest opinion! I doesn't matter, you're still an idiot. And that is not an honest opinion, just stating a fact.

OH yeah... Chris Peterson will bring the heralded freshman to cold Minnesota instead of USC, right ? LOL - NOT! Harbough if any of those guys would be the guy who could do that. Not Peterson and not Patterson. Minnesota needs to learn, my god. Get a coach with some pro connections that will assist in Minnesota recruiting because no body wants to play in Minnesota and something is needed to get recruits over that hump in the decision making process. It certainly isn't the new stadium that gets players. LOL

Peterson is the best college coach in the country. He has been offered dozens of jobs at high-profile universities. He proclaims his love for Boise every chance he gets. I can't imagine him leaving for UM but at least Walters is shooting high.

Awesome idea. A tight ends coach from the Denver Broncos has pro connections.

Daily Horoscope for June 1

Leo

Try not to over-commit yourself at this time. If you can establish a few limits you will be really pleased with the end results. You're flying high -- which is great, but try not to get ahead of yourself and lose the advantage of the good opportunities surrounding you. Why not relax at home tonight? Have a few friends over for some pleasant banter.
