Who really cares? Why is he still in the news? This player disgraced ohio State in his actions and he should not be news worthy. Letting everyone know what, where and how he is doing things now. He chose to do what he did and now he should pay for it. No more news about him and wether he's going to the NFL or not. I want to forget about him and concentrate and support the team that will be playing for Ohio State this year.

Let's see what kind (if any) offers he gets from the NFL. Maybe this was his shot. I don't think he is as good as HE thinks he is..... then what? Who knows, maybe Gee will get his wish when Tyrell finds out he has to get a degree to get a job. I wish him the best.

He should have just stayed at OSU, he would have made WAY more money there, rather than going to the Arena League, CFL or UFL!

You obviously haven't figured it out with Clarrett. These guys will be in the news forever, just because the local channels can make news on them. I wish we could hear more about how Spielman is doing with his kids now that his wife has passed. How is the family coping? What about the other talented players that played for OSU that aren't in football. Let's hear about them instead.

let him leave. they can use the money and give to another student that wants to go to college and earn a better life!!

Honestly, who does this guy think he is? He's going to focus on the NFL... in other words, pass up any opportunity he might have to ever play the game again. He wasn't really anything special at OSU as a QB, and it seems that his ego is too big to accept that he might be best fit playing a different position.. I won't cry if I never see him on the field again.

He is not the first and won't be the last athlete to do something dumb. But its over now lets move and see what the bucks will do this season

You're absolutely right! And what a class act Jim Lachey is and has been. I hope he will always be chairman of the Gold Pants committee and for him not to bend under pressure to distribute the pants for this past season. How about OSU Head Coach?

Just like so many college athletes who are at the top of the mountain when in college, Prior is simply delusional. He will NEVER start a game in the NFL. He has about half the throwing accuracy Troy Smith did coming out of college and we've seen how that has panned out.

That figures...He thinks he's too good to comply to rules...ANYWHERE!!!!!!!!!!thin ks he's TOO GOOD to play Canadian football...thinks he's going to make it in the NFL (well, maybe if someone's desparate enough.....and has shown his words does't mean crap!!!!!!!
And Gordy, you might as well wish on a star if you think he's coming back to graduate; he's not smart enough to start with, and all you're hoping for is a big fat five or six figure alumnus donation from him, anyway! Let's not bash him too much.... He did do a fantastic job as QB for Ohio State. Didn't he win 22 out of 25 games? It was fun to watch him play and out run some great players. That being said.... as an Alumni, my feelings are hurt that he sold his stuff and put the coach in a position that he couldn't wiggle out of. It's right for him to leave, and sadly it's right for Tressel to leave, BUT they both did a FANTASTIC job on the field. Let's not forget the good stuff!

I'd be willing to bet that this time next year this kid will be fathering his second child in his second area code so yeah he needs to be in the NFL to make them payments. If you put your nose to the breeze you can smell the cleat chasers out in full force for this one...lol.

I'd like to know who's footing the bill for his lawyer, and for his perspective so-called trainer and agent...hope their paid in advance. And he's supposed to be a HARDSHIP case??____maybe just another CON ARTIST!!!!

I thought he was a "STUDENT" athlete,, should be in class working towards a degree.

I wonder what those signed TP shirts and helmets are worth now.

I would guess about the same as his future NFL income.
