Favre aint coming back .. when the time comes he's gonna remember that beating he took in the last game and figure it aint worth it ... He'll figure he played well last season and decide to go out on that note .. and the Vikings will be left with T-Jack at the helm ... Packer Nation thanks you Brett for screwing Minnesota one last time .. hahahaha

Hopefully Favre retires and takes that overpaid Longwell who can't even kickoff with him. It's time too quit signing these overrated, overpaid, drama queen Packer trash.

You're right! Take that leg that has kicked at least 3 50+ field goals late in the game for a win off the team. Jesus, how DARE he get old. Favre? He is terrible also! He prob had one of his best seasons as a pro last season..who needs him! Just because you don't like them since they played for GB' you can't turn a blind eye to how they have helped Mn win games! You don't have to like them but C'mon.... be realistic about it would ya?

Bret Favre should retire after having the best season of his career. If he comes back and throws eight Interceptions he will immediately become a whipping post.Bret, you dont need the immature treatment of todays fans. You beat GB twice. You have a SuperBowl ring. NFC Champ last season. You are the man. Think Barry Sanders and walk away.

50-50 chance of returning??? Reasons for his return are constantly bantered about. I'd like to add a few that are not mentioned much for his return. 13 million for maybe 6 months on the job, report to training camp when he wants to, 24/7 media favre watch to fill his ego, extend all his nfl best stats ie: interceptions, games played, etc, etc. Acquire more deep purple bruises so he can post them on the internet for all to see and sympathize with his 40 plus year old body. Enough.

This is a decision for Brett and his family to make so please quit pretending to know something when you have no insight into it.

I have always liked and respected Brett and his massive ability and would love to see him in a MN uniform for at least one more year but our more serious problems are with the current idiot in the White House!

Who knows maybe Brett is going to have to clean up the oil spill on his law before he can report :-)

Either way don't expect him to decide either way before their is less than a week left in camp!

"I think it's 50-50 either way." Wouldn't it have to be? Let me guess, Longwell was not a Math major.

Exactly, DDAustin. What a nothing story. The conjecturing and opining on this is sick stupid - we'll know soon enough, and the result will be - he will play - if not, we would know it already. Other useless news - Taylor sees the same leadership qualities in Cutler as Favre? Who cares, is my first thought is. Second thought is - most players who played/play with Cutler disagree (most say he's a whiner with emotional problems). A few talk *pretty* when there is no news, and this is the result.

Glad for Seth Rosen's personal success and strong team contribution as the Gophers progress thorugh the NCAA regional play. Having a chance to play pro ball is an exciting prospect.

By your comment you'd think he kicked the Packers a/s/s twice last year.

You're right!... How dare anyone criticize Favre!... After that great season he should be enshrined as "the greatest NFL player ever!" ... forget that he's played 19 years with only one title and hasn't been to a Super Bowl in 13 straight years!... Forget that he can't finish a season with a title cause he keeps blowing NFL title games with stupid decisions at the end!... How dare a negative word be spoken against him cause after all, he has all those "stats and records" .......... Open your eyes pawpecker, ya want "fun" seasons or ya want Lombardi trophys??... Keep the old guys for as long as you like, the future of the NFC north is young stud Aaron Rodgers, and you Nordic nerds know it in your little purple hearts .. The Lombardi trophy will eventually be coming back to Lambeau where it belongs!!

Longwell is just saying that he won't be surprised either way by Favre. It's just another way of saying that no matter what happens, somebody always knew it would happen. There's an old saying in the predictive business: "Fifty/fifty means they don't know." Either way we're administering a Packer beat-down X2 this year. Skol Vikings.

I think there is a 60% chance that there is a 100% possibility of Brett coming back.

By the way, how dare Chester Taylor mention Jay Cutler in the same sentence as Brett Favre.

Aaron isnt a young QB Rookie year was 2005 Starter with this year 3 years./ Matt Ryan has won more games then your Aaron boy Ravens QB Joe Flacco has won more games then Aaron Both younger then Aaron Both Better then Aaron Why dont you packer fans face it Aaron was a back up & didnt take the job away from Favre Even the Eagles made a trade in the division showing there faith in Kevin Kobb Unlike the Packers did with Aaron & Favre Packers would not trade to the VIKES & made Favre waste a year playing for the JETS . I dont think the packers coachs had faith in Aaron do you? You should have been asking your self why not trade him to the VIKES if the Coachs though him Aaron could take over & be a winner The Eagles showed there Faith in Kobb The reason They knew he "Aaron" was not a Franchise QB . The VIKINGS will hold off on a young QB intill next year, When they can get a Real Franchise QB GO VIKINGS

No, you are wrong. Read it again. He said it's 50-50, EITHER WAY. If it's 90-10, it can't be 90-10 EITHER WAY. Then it would be 10-90 the other way. But if it's 50-50, then it has to be 50-50, either way. In other words, he's repeating himself. Let me guess, you are neither a Math major or an English major. The INTELLIGENT VETERINARIAN srikes again!

Daily Horoscope for June 1

Capricorn

Someone you care about could easily lose the plot today, which will lead to all sorts of ructions. Be patient - they aren't thinking logically or rationally, and are easily influenced by their emotions. Take care if you start to take on their persona, because it will be very tiring and drain you of energy. You'll also find that you keep chopping and changing your mind at the drop of a hat, which will mean others get quite impatient with you.
